The rondawel is fully equipped. Nice small kitchen. Good hot shower. Fantastic garden!!!! Nearby activities: Small trail on farm. Nice !!! Modimolle not far. Safety: Very safe. We loved our stay, 3 nights, will be back.

Nyl Retreat is a wonderful stop over on the way to the middle/northern part of Kruger National Park. They welcomed us with a full orientation to the property and the area. The rooms were simple but had full kitchens and Wifi. They had battery powered lights for load shedding and a mattress warmer for the cold winter nights. We also enjoyed the short walk on their property. Certainly a wonderful way-station.

I would like to give a big shout out to Nyl Retreat for being such a wonderful place to go to!! The place is a beautiful in person as the picture are on their website and FB page. Laurene your hostess is very friendly and accommodating and she goes the extra mile! From welcome chocolates on your night stand, to crisp white linen, good quality beds and pillows, lovely smelling towels and in general a very well equipped self catering unit. I would highly recommend this beautiful place for a relaxing weekend / long weekend away from the hustle & bustle of the city. We will def be going back!!

We had a lovely stay at Nyl Retreat, the cottages are neat and clean and have everything you will need! Lovely braai area as well! The area is quiet and the gardens are beautiful, will definitely stay there again!

Had an awesome stay at the Nyl Retreat, its like visiting your grandmother on the farm instead of spending time at a guest house. We really really really had a awesome time, awesome people making us feel right at home and I will recommend the spot to anyone that needs to stay in the Modimolle Nylstroom area. Baie dankie Tannie!
