Got to our table and waited a long time for a waiter to come and take our drinks order. I got up and went to manager to ask if we are going to get a waiter. He replied jokingly “I hope so”?!? We waited a few more minutes and at last we got a waiter. The waiter took our drinks order. After 35min of waiting just to get our drinks, we got up and left the restaurant. Hope they sort out their bad service issues.. Not a pleasant first experience at the new Ocean Basket.
The weiter offered us a very good service however, the meal was not up to standard. We order a platter and hake and chips. The hake was over fried it was like a fat cake out side. I really hope you'll improve.
Food was very tasty on the three occasions that we visited. Kitchen was quick on the draw and our servers were friendly. The hake and chips is great value in my opinion.Recommended dishesHalloumi Cheese, Fish & Chips
The service was abit slow but the food was outstanding. Thanks for the great versatile menu with affordable options. Parking: Parking is great as it is at the mall.
Great food, everything was delicious on our Platter for 1 and great service from our very friendly waiter: Siyabonga
My take away order had a lemon butter sauce made with margarine. By the time I got home I was really bad lemon separate from margarine
Extremely poor service worst I've seen in years Food quality is rushed and poor Arrived at 12 and order only got my food 10 to 2 Nearly two hours later Other customers got helped and just pas over Worst customer service ever Extremely disappointed in OB Ermelo Won't see me there again I would give it zero stars but that's not an option Bad customer service Bad food Want to order drinks from the drinks menu Then got told they don't have a liscence but we can buy alcohol somewhere else and drink it there Won't recommend going here
How can you let people seat and then tell them sorry we still waiting for our liquor lisence, but you can buy from checkers and drink it here. After we were given the drinks menu and orders some drinks.
Ordered 18 prawns, received 12, salmon sushi had fish bones in. Food delivered stone cold.
This was my first time at Ocean Basket.. Received fast and friendly service from waitress and manager.. Thanks alot.. Keep it up..
