On Sixth It's all about Taste

It was an absolute treat. Clean restaurant with attentive servers. The meals were absolutely beautiful, although the rump was a bit tough, but still very tasty. The garlic sauce was AMAZING! Very affordable dishes. Overall a very well run restaurant, can’t wait for the next visit.

Nice and cosy restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was quick. The coffee was strong and delicious and the food was delicious as well and well presented.

Time was good, just service was slow and food was average. Had to send the pizza back as the base wasn't cooked through Heard so much about it, so was a little disappointed in the end.

Great service and food. Waitress went out of her way to assist us without overdoing it. Average restaurant priced but above average food taste and quality. January 2022 A year and another one or two visits later.. I'm adding to my previous review. We went there in late November-22. We ordered starters and constantly had to request service for everything and managed to speak to the manager, and three waiters during this time. The main meal took so long that we didn't even eat there and took it all home. The food is good but the service on that day was probably the worst we ever experienced. One of our guests even went to the manager to request service at one stage. When we left the owner wasn't available and the manager was standing outside by a vehicle think it was a white BMW and chatting to somebody. I hope this review will be taken seriously and looked at because this could be one of the best restaurants if the service is improved. It seems it is not the first complaint about service.

Sad that my review has changed. On sixth was easily one of my favourite restaurants. Our latest experience was not great. They have changed their pizza from square to round, which is sad. Plus the pizzas were so soggy the toppings fell off when trying to pick up a piece. The sushi quality has also drastically decreased. I ordered a sushi platter and it was mainly rice. The rice was also so over cooked and mushed together, it was like a ball of dough. My salmon roses were wrapped in the smallest, thin layer of salmon. Very disappointed by this experience. For the price you pay, you expect better. Atmosphere in the restaurant is still lovely, service was quite slow.

What a great find for an evening meal. This is a lively venue with a great vibe even on a week day evening. The service is good, the food delicious and beautifully presented. I can definitely recommend the salmon and avocado sushi salad. The Alfredo pasta is creamy and delicious and Italian kisses provide a touch of sweetness to finish off the meal.

Wow!! Food was really good, plated and presented better than some 5star places I’ve eaten. Our waiter, Thomson knowledgeable on serving and customer service: I’m definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. Order the Key lime pie to finish the night, you won’t regret it. * order the pizza for pick up on a different night, took 40 minutes to make the pizza!!!
