Consciously striving to improve and elevate habits and pursuits to create exceptional business growth
As a Chartered Accountant with more than 17 years experience in business, 13 of which were in the banking sector, Richard Angus has observed the challenges and pains associated with business growth.
As a young entrepreneur, Richard ran a variety of businesses to pay for his studies and support his family in early years. These early experiences taught Richard the value of integrating strategy and execution to elevate outcomes.
Richard has previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of First National Bank's Home Loans division and as the Chief Financial Officer of FNB Corporate.
He started his accounting career in the early 90's with Deloitte and Touche to qualify as a CA(SA) before joining FNB and the FirstRand group.
Richard is also an advisor with the National Small Business Chamber and has a strong bias towards entrepreneurial businesses.
The challenge is to persistently, consciously press forward to elevate attitudes and behaviour that create habits
“Resisting the usual” - business improvement that focuses on the habits and pursuits of the team.
