Great place to stop for coffee & food while driving on the N2. Deli items also available for sale. Cute little "back shop" area selling veldskoene, throws & sarongs, body products & candles. Nice outside seating with apparatus for kids to play on. Tasty sandwiches. Only one thing: why is the "pick up your takeaway order" standing area right by the place where customers & staff have to walk through? This creates a bottleneck of human traffic.

Beautiful road stop with nice coffee, pastries, sandwiches and more. Even your kids can enjoy the play area while you eat. WIFI available.

When one pass a place and it leaves a lasting impression is how I would describe "Ou Meul". Its a thousand km away from me, but man, I would go out of my way to visit again one day. Great coffee and home made pies. A bit more of expensive than a garage pie but one can honestly not compare the 2. The pies are pies, real tasty good quality. Also a classy selection of items in store. Hope this business lasts forever

Delicious scrambled eggs and bacon croissant. The chocolate and almond croissants we took as a takeaway also absolutely fabulous. Warm fire on the breakfast room. So a must stop in winter

We stopped there after 8 in the morning. Two of the staff was standing there with arms fold and no smile. The lady taking our order was also not friendly and we had to ask everything almost twice for her to react. My mother and I both walked out and said to each other. Wow, this was not really great. What was going on with the staff.

Stunning place. Pies are worth it, but have tasted better for cheaper, but was worth it. Coffee is strong. Best Americano ever tasted and I only drink that. Worth the stop as you can stretch your legs, eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open outside for kids to play. Will stop there again.

Exactly as a previous reviewer mentioned, the perfect place to stop for a quick and delicious bite to eat and great coffee. Staff were very friendly, clean dining area and toilets. Outside patio with secured children play area. No dogs allowed.

Best pies EVER!! Great variety and freshly baked. Lovely places to sit and eat. I will always make a pit-stop here. THANK YOU for friendly service as well

Haven't been out this side in years and the shop has changed significantly for the better, but their pies are still the best!! Enjoyed a quick hot chocolate and toasted banana bread delicious as well! There is lots of place to sit and even a play area with more seating out back. The attached gift shop has beautiful things, but is a little pricey. Bathrooms were clean and neat.
