Oxbow Country Estate is an ideal choice for couples, young and old looking for the perfect country style wedding venue, winter fly fishing, getaway break or conferencing venue. The venue offers GUESTS unique four star facilities in a stunning country setting for up to 180 guests.
The guest house boasts 17 en-suite bedrooms with twin or king size beds, each offering crisp linen, a separate bath and shower, and guest amenities, with a dedicated first floor honeymoon executive suite for superb luxury and pampering.
The kitchen serves scrumptious breakfasts, as well as an interesting portfolio of menus for weddings, special events, conferencing, picnics and lunches.
To enhance a perfect stay, relax in the secure landscaped gardens with meandering trout dams, cast a line, or refresh with a cocktail on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool and estate.

Beautiful venue to have an incredible wedding. Service is out of this world, the food even more incredible and the drama presenting the food is a wonderful experience. I have never before clapped hands for my food. Just the dirt road towards the venue is a bit of a letdown but if you can move passed that, you can be assured of a an amazing experience.
Great place to host a wedding. We were there for a wedding of around 80 people and it hosted us perfectly. Many places to take awesome picture especially for a wedding but even if you go just for a weekend away. Many water features but also a hike that you can take if you feeling up to it.Rooms: 4/5

Experienced a wedding at this venue. Have never seen such a mis-managed bar in my life. Bar staff are keeping tabs for each individual, and are reconciling these as others are trying to make orders. The venue is severely understaffed. Generally, there’s service is fantastic; but when it comes to managing a bar a large part of their service this business falls absolutely flat.
What an experience! From the moment we have arrived the friendly client focused staff exceed our expectations. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable with awesome views. The food was both appealing on the eyes, pallet and most enjoyable. Then there was Edwin – if I ever met someone with a higher calling on his life, it was Edwin the “SERVANT”. Edwin made us feel at home and nothing was an effort or too much asked from him. The lovely landscaped well-kept gardens, dams, abundant birdlife, and tranquil nature set the scene for a relaxed and well rested weekend. As we drove out of the gate, an overwhelming sense of gratitude bestows upon us. Thank you to Mike and his staff. Best regards, Peet & Dorrithé.
We had our wedding on the 15th of December 2022 @ Oxbow country estate. It was absolutely perfect from the journey to planning the day and the big day itself. Chantel has been a pleasure working with. She is calm & collected, something every bride needs! Oxbow helped with everything throughout the night and even the day after with so much kindness and love. Will recommend anyone to have their special day/function/event at Oxbow! Really great venue, can be a little noisy as it is a wedding venue but really comfortable and really friendly staff, well worth it and the gardens are spectacular, this is really a great setting for a wedding venue
I attended the BEST wedding experience of my life at Oxbow this weekend. What a beautiful wedding! The food was abundant and beyond delicious, the service was impeccable. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. Heaters keeps you warm on the cold winter nights. The view is something rarely seen, which makes it a perfect venue for weddings and photos, I am no photographer but it is so beautiful, it is impossible to take a bad photo.
The place is very beautiful but the food iyooh no, it looks delicious but doesn't taste good. The service was also great.Service: 5/5
