Updated again:  Newly completed,refurbished and upgraded a bit-just the shop though which is disappointing. Looks newer but seems like less space, and really not much besides the bullet proof glass has been added.  Shelves are typically what you would expect and lots of stuff isn’t available. This last occasion the attendant spilt over 2 liters of petrol on the outside of the car as he was trying to fill and answer his phone.  Also the attendants placed cones to block the entrances offprobably to allow them to sleep late at night to turn customers away even though they were fully open-Ridiculous.  Update: whatever they are doing to their garden is certainly improving the place all the time! Flowers/roses and greenery are improving the look and feel  Good spot-sometimes parking is a nightmare and the uneven entrance and exits play havoc on the low profiles but the friendly staff and great food selection make up for it! Concerned now 2 x ATMs are on the open street-just a matter of time before there is a issue there-so be careful when drawing cash. They used to be inside and more sheltered and secure-maybe this should be reconsidered for future?

I would like to specifically mention and thank the lady behind the counter and the manager who stepped in the gap  at the Shell service station shop today at around 09h00. I was being harassed by a homeless man in the forecourt who was demanding money from me. I was courteous to him but he didn't let up. I then went inside to order and pay for my coffee and mentioned my experience. The lady behind the till immediately apologised and went to inform the manager who promptly dealt with the situation to ensure that his customers feel safe and are not harassed. I appreciate this level of customer service and care. Thank you.

We always receive top service from this place. Their forecourt attendants are super friendly and make you feel welcome. The convenience store serves fresh food and have the best coffee in town. A very popular stopover in the area.

Service was aggressive and dismissive today, am very unimpressed

I just pulled out there now from morning meeting and the attendant was so friendly infact he made me believe that I just nailed this deal meaning I'll buying more of those fresh pies everyday

Just had the worst experience with the gentleman working at the vida coffee station , I was standing waiting to be served and was completely ignored buy the guy who was behind the counter busy sweeping the floor , eventually he looked at me with a very sour face,  I briefly removed my mask to tell him what coffee I wanted and he just shouted at me to put my mask on and walked away,  at this point I was over the coffee , while he stood at the till with a sour face I said I no longer want coffee from him because he was just rude , he kept shouting at me that it is the law to ware a mask , which I was wearing and just briefly pulled it down to order my coffee,  when I told him he was being rude he ran at me from behind the counter and aggressively confronted me ....while taking his mask off and shouting at me invading my personal space paying no attention to social distancing ? Don't know what his problem was but he should definitely not be the face serving customers, he was just out right rude and started getting aggressive without a mask in my space doing exactly what he said I have to do because it is law ..........actually can't belive his attitude and hereby warn everyone not to drink coffee from there , if is attitude is like this his coffee is obviously terrible never mind that he could also get aggressive with you and possibly assault you because he is clearly unstable and should not be allowed to work around customers. I will never step foot into this premises again, luckily there are alot of other gaurages around as well as coffee shops.......shame on you!

Adam goes an extra mile to make sure his service is on point. Whenever he is busy with other customers I wait, even if it means waiting for more than 10minutes I don't mind. I really appreciate the service, keep up the good work Adam.

I had a terrible experience at this service station, all i wanted was 2 pies and to fill up my tank. petrol attendants as usual were amazing. the guys inside absolutely no customer service kept changing my order but instead of talking to me directly they were talking to each other about my order. i left there very upset and will find another place to buy my pies.

This is the best Shell service station ever. There are days when I would drive my car completely empty and pray to get to this service station just for their friendly staff. First it was Vincent, then Lethabo. All of them serve you with pride. The staff at Vida, always brightened my Friday. I'm moving away from the area but will surely pop in every now and then.
