Parkrand, Parklands Estate

Wow this place is very beautiful, not easy to gain access because security measures there. The person you came to must be the one who confirm that you can enter as the guard communicate with via WhatsApp and phone call, I think the only thing that they need to do is add more than 1 guard more especially at night. There is space like parks for kids to play and the whole place is neat and taken care of.

Big estate with many smaller complexes inside.

It's clean and nice and secure

Please think very carefully if you intend to live here, security is appalling. The visitor security procedures are way below standard; Guards allow entrance to the estate on a perfunctory glance of your "Code" that can be replicated by anyone. They take your details down from your driver's licence when the system doesn't work at the Jubilee Gate, it has never worked for the past 2 years, when I asked the guard what happens to my details in his book, he casually said they just leave the book in the office on the counter POPIA violations galore. The keypads of the systems that do work, don't have any numbers, or light so it's a guessing game at night. I think they spend very little of the thousands they collect from levies on security. Stay away. The building quality is just as bad, ceiling has fallen on top of my family and continue to pull themselves out on windy days as they didn't use proper nails on the rhino board.
