Pat Busch Mountain Reserve offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, where you can retreat to nature and still your mind. Enjoy walks and hikes in safety on a private nature reserve with a freshwater mountain dam for swimming, fishing and kayaking.

Accommodation options include self-catering cottages, a large Farmhouse for groups of friends or families and five boutique camping tents.

Perfectly situated on the Klaasvoogds Meander, outside Robertson, guests can choose to stay on the reserve or enjoy the numerous activties on the Robertson Wine Valley Route, such as wine tasting, blending your own wine or a leisurely boat cruise on the Breede River.

Had a very lovely brief camping experience here. There are beautiful forest nooks tucked away behind trees and there are cows roaming the property. The hikes are fairly easy to navigate and the lake was a great relaxing treat. I noticed signs that people can also fish there and long as they let go of the fish, there seemed to be a dry dock where canoe's were kept.

Spectacular farm & fantastic home. As a group of 25 we were amazed by how comfortably we fit into the house. Super clean, kitchen had everything we needed and more the dishwasher just needs fixing. Comfortable bedding with blankets for the chilly evenings when you get into bed after enjoying the fire in the boma under a stars filled sky.  There are hiking trails within the reserve, a beautiful pool, dam and lawn, so you don’t have to leave until departure.  Johan was a friendly and helpful host.  I highly recommend Pat Busch & will be back to experience the safari tents.

This was such a beautiful experience for our out of town hike. The place was neat when we arrived, as advertised. There are couple hiking trails in the reserve which was  very convenient as we did not have to drive. Johan was very friendly and very patient with us. I would definitely go back again.Rooms: 5/5

Awesome venue and love the upgrades. A great escape for a weekend.
