Pepper Tree

A lovely experience, like a little oasis. The rooms are as advertised, they are clean, neat, and well thought out. The garden and ambience is relaxing and definitely gives off "garden of Eden in Bloem" vibes. Their breakfast was nice and simple, but sufficient. We would happily stay there again.

It is a beautiful wedding venue and the decor they did was absolutely perfect, the church setting with lots of white flowers and the reception hall was so beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing too, and the surroundings for photo was breathtaking.

Located on the outskirts of town in a quite and peaceful setting. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with access to selected DSTV and WiFi. The room also has a small fridge and coffee station. Well priced for what is on offer. I skipped the breakfast and thus cannot comment on that. Had an enjoyable stay.

I am not sure where to start to describe this absolutely incredible experience. My husband and I got married at Pepper Tree a few weeks ago and we are still getting rave reviews from our guests about the stunning venue, delicious food and their friendly staff. Planning a wedding can be very stressful but Vanessa and the staff were amazing. Vanessa helped throughout the planning process and answered all the questions I had. She was professional, approachable and went out of her way to accommodate all our requests. On the day of the wedding I got to relax and enjoy the experience as the team ensured everything went smoothly. I just want to say a big thank you to Pepper Tree for making our day perfect. Cant recommend Pepper Tree enough!

Well worth the trip. The road leading there is a terrible dirt road frequented by tractors. The terrible road makes it tricky to get to but once you do it's well worth it. Perhaps one of Bloem's hidden gems.

Clean spacious room, with exceptional decor. The honeymoon suit has a private entrance and a terrace.

Hidden gem. Service, atmosphere, aesthetics, bar pricing are all good. Only negative is that you have to drive on a below average dirt road for 1.5km to get there. In the end well worth it.

The Pepper Tree team always go the extra mile to ensure your event is as special as you wished it would be. The food was definitely a highlight. Location is perfect with spectacular views of the Free State sunsets. The staff is friendly and helpful, and always willing to assist. Would highly recommend Pepper Tree Venue to anyone.
