Went to collect my car papers and service received was par excellence

Great concept in the financial markets we fi d ourselves in. Wide range of cars to choose from.

The worst kind of service relation ever. First my friend pay deposit and the installment for the car, during the time of the sale, the manager tells her that, she's allowed two months of skip payments , she misses one month, they come and collect the car.  Quick to collect the deposit when they are excited that they are making a sale. And very quick to come collect the car.  Promises are high of thier service and the disappointment are higher. Especially lies from the manager.

Very good and fast service... yes the no finance option works out more expensive than bank finance. But for someone that can't get bank finance a very good option.  Cars are well maintained and I checked all the other rent to own companies... this is only o e that gives unlimited mileage

I am really disappointed with the service I have received at Eastpoint Rentals.  1.    On the day of pickup the car engine was not washed nor was the water and oil filled. 2.    Upon driving the car I realized there was something not in order as the car was shaking & returned the car back to Eastpoint and took it for a test drive with Daven and he confirmed that it was brake pads and brake disc and due to the fact that the car is based in Mafikeng he suggested that we take it in any RMI approved dealership of which we took it in on the 13th April 2022 to Bosch Mafikeng. Bosch discovered that control arms amongst other things needed repairs to my surprise since the car was meant to have gone through Dekra inspection. The car was done on the same day but Bosch wouldn’t release the car without proof of payment. This is where the problem is. We were sent pillar to post just get assistance with regards to proof of payment. Sent email to Javed, till this day no response. Called Daven he promised to call back till this day. We have countless times asked Lerato whom was just doing us a favour to go to the accounts department or relevant individuals of which she did and would come back with different responses. We have also requested Lucia as our sales person to assist with getting us the proof of payment still she couldn’t get it to us. Eventually the car was released on Monday 25th April 2022 late afternoon after Bosch called to advise that they had received the proof of payment. The car hadn’t been working and therefore no income was made on those days of which I specifically mentioned to Javed on the email that he should freeze the account until the car was back. Clarely not only hasn’t he replied but he might have not even bothered to read as this morning my account was debited with the full amount of installment. 3.    I called Dashnee she said the system is down and she said she would call back as soon as it was back. I am yet to receive that call. 4.    I then called Adriaan, whom told me that they only freeze accounts for vehicles that are in their premises. I agued that the delay for the car to be released and go back to work immediately was on your company’s side. He told me to take it up with car care department. With all the run around I did for the proof of payment and all the airtime and time I wasted to be met with no help I feel defeated to even begin to call that department. Today alone I have spent so much airtime trying to get the debit order issue sorted.  With all this said I am resorting to email just one more time with hope that it will reach the relevant person and I will be responded but over and above I WILL BE ASSISTED without resorting to a tiring legal battle.  How I wish I'd read reviews.

Am a Nigerian and I would like to advice everyone on this reaching out platform. Make sure you can pay because NFC will never force you to take a car. Many people take a car and start to party with savanna nyana. I took a car from 2018 and I finish 2022 January it was difficult but it was well understood what I was facing from day one. During the Covid 19 there advice you to return the car pending wen will C19 will be over dololo. Guys be responsible Hallilujah

During this time of a pandemic we have been struggling. Not only would they not consider a payment plan but harassed and intimidated me for weeks. They then showed up with cops at my work. No warrants but was threatened of arrest if I did not hand over the vehicle. I had to take time off the next day to go and pay for the account. We had to wait over 3 hours for anything to be done. Luckily a friend was there to assist and fork out R20,000.  Due to them showing up at my work I lost my job. I was fortunate to get another job very quickly. But not 7 days after forking out R20,000 I asked for 5 days to pay the next months bill. They refused and want to show up at my new job where I have only been there for 2 days to take the car again. Disgusting behaviour and dont care about putting peoples livelihoods at risk. All they want is to milk as much money as they can out of you no matter the personal consequences during this pandemic.
