I love taking a rest at this place after a long drive
On your way to Gauteng a convenient place to rest along the N1.
The improvements after that long reconstruction are very well done, There's Steers, Nandos, and Spur for travelers who might want to get refreshments and or a meal for the road
Question, not review: is the bridge accessible from both Johannesburg side and Bela Bela side? Could we meet for coffee, coming from different directions?
What an amazing stop. I would even recommend it as part of your road trips. Amazing service and coffee / road trip food stop.
Clean and the staff are all friendly and willing to help
The steers at petroport, is pathetic. The service is terrible, waited 40 minutes for 3 milkshakes, when asked the staff about it, the gentleman who was giving the customers foods, started screaming at my wife, and made a scene. Totally unacceptable. I wouldn't advice anyone to go there until the staff get better training and learn how to treat a customer.
It was extremely busy as lots of people were driving back to Johannesburg after month weekend. We didn't have any issues.

Amazing service from the team this evening. I stopped to fill up and the attendant noticed I had a flat tyre. The team quickly assessed the tyre, found the puncture and did a patch for me. Very grateful for their willingness to help
