Feel the rhythm of Africa or face your fears at Phezulu Safari Park by enjoying a cultural tour and Zulu dance show or coming face to face with snakes and crocodiles in our reptile park. If you are looking for a more soulful experience go on a 4x4 game drive into the Valley of 1000 hills. We also offer community tours into a the surrounding community where you can learn more about the area's history and people, visit a sangoma and have a taxi experience. FREE ENTRY includes a beautiful view, 2 restaurants, a kids play area and 2 curio shops. Charged activities include the Reptile Park, Zulu village, game reserve and community tours.

Was a lovely relaxed day Game drive tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was interesting and Pleasant. The staff was welcoming expect for the old lady at reception very dismissive, unhelpful and condescending.
Very cool place. Good collection of reptiles. Can keep the you busy for at least 2 to 3 hours. Crocodile feeding is cool to see and the show and tell about the snakes is informative and interesting. Good time out and well done to the team there for the wonderful hospitality on offer, the food at the restaurant is home made and tasty and very affordable, the views add to the whole experience.
What a wonderful destination outing for groups and families. Phezulu has an incredible view of the Thousand Hills Valley with a variety of unique activities. The cultural village with dancing is a fantastic celebration of Zulu heritage and culture. It is a special local showcase. The souvenir shop is well curated. The reptile park is very well done with a shady walk through different habitats for different ages of crocodiles. You can even view the oldest croc at 100 years of age. It’s interesting to see different snake varieties and the tour guide was personable. We ended everything with a happy hour drink on the incredible deck. A very fun afternoon.

PheZulu was an amazing experience, it is a beautiful area situated in the mountains of the kzn. Surrounded by a scenic view of surrounding mountains. They have a beautiful estate for home owners to buy/rent , it is a perfect destination for holiday houses and retirement. PheZulu offers an authentic Zulu experience for people on site. There is a caffe, curio shop, Spazza shop and restaurant. I highly recommend this to any local families to visit off season and it is an amazing experience for holiday makers alike
So good to have a safari experience right in our neighborhood. I took some friends from the UK there recently and they had such a great time. There are none of the Big Five but lots of giraffes, zebras, antelopes, wild pigs and many more wild animals to see. Also guide helped to information that made the experience so good. Presently an hour safari cost R250 $15 approximately. They have a restaurant and a gift shop that’s filled with many great gifts. And you can also get to see a Zulu traditional dance at an extra fee.
It was a great experience and the staff are so friendy and dedicated. As an animal lover, it's wonderful to have a place so close to home to visit for the outdoor experience.
A wonderful family experience, staff, restaurant,safari tour, accommodations, reptile park and the scenery are amazing..a real hidden gem in Kzn..
The breathtaking Valley of a Thousand Hills is an exciting component of KwaZulu-Natal – the Kingdom of the Zulu. The Valley has been home to the Zulu people for centuries, with many continuing to practice and live their traditional lifestyle. The shows backdrop is a magnificent panoramic view of the Valley offering the perfect photo opportunity for any traveller. The Gasa clan at Phezulu show off their traditional clothing while they entertain the audience with their grace, agility, humour and beating drums. I had a friend from England join me and she was in awe at the magnificent performance and taking in the opportunity to learn about a new culture. The last time I was here was for a school cultural tour and was so very impressed by the whole experience that I highly recommend it to both tourists and locals alike.
