Picasso’s Mexican Taqueria became a reality in White River, South Africa, in 2014. Inspired and modelled on Stratos and Debbie Perakis’ Picasso On The Beach, located in Naxos, Greece. Picasso’s Mexican Taqueria offers freshly made Mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while you sit back and sip our famous Margaritas and watch the sun set over the farmlands. Great outdoor atmosphere. Live Music. Good variety of drinks - The Sangria is a must have. The Platters gives you the best of all their dishes mixed in one. Average waiting time for drinks 18mins and food 45min when busy.
Food was good and service just ok. Frozen Margarita is awesome. Not very attentive service. Clearly no one in charge. Waiters standing in a huddle playing on their phones and always have to flag down waiter to get attention. Barman eating behind the bar and then handling glasses and pouring drinks, not very hygienic. Decor nice. Go check it out and see for yourself.
This place had fabulous Mexican food, and loads of tequila options. I had the nacho grande, with the gluten free corn chips. Although, if your keen in tacos, they also do hard shell gluten free tacos!
If you’re looking to have lunch under a tree in the heat of Whiteriver…this is the place. Child friendly with playground, great Mexican food choices. My girls got to dance eat and play. Fun all round
Amazing Frozen Margaritas and great atmosphere. Sat under the trees and had a very relaxed lunch. Food was good and out waitress, Precious was on the ball.

Tasty food and ready quickly. Good presentation and very clean. Food a bit bland for my liking but still good. Only disappointed with not getting a table by the fireplace when we requested that when making the reservation. It's a good stop if in the area.
Food was great, waiter was great... The idea of a tequila on the house is the most genius thing ever. Don't ever have to go to Mexico coz it's right on our doorstep
Best restaurant I've been to really. All the staff are so friendly and are very patient with me I have social anxiety so it's difficult for me to order sometimes and some even know our orders off by heart. Lovely people, lovely views as well, feels like you're in a different country.Food: 5/5
Some places are not spectacular, yet you find yourself going back over and over again. This is one of those places. It's Mexican food, it's good food, also pizzas if you want. We always sit outside under the trees, weather permitting. Fairly priced food and drinks. Vegetarian options: It's Mexican need I say more Kid-friendliness: Not a kiddies park but a friendly place for them.
