SPUR @ Ilanga Mall

Decided to stop in at spur on the way home from doing a rather cold and wet trip outdoors. Ordered the 7 burger specials and a kiddies chicken strips and chips. Kiddie meal was brought fairly quickly whilst we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for the burgers to arrive. When asked, the waitress just said they will be ready now, offering no reason for the lengthy wait, the restaurant was not really busy at that stage. Waitress was unfriendly and really seemed like she didn't want to be there. We sat close to the play area entrance. It was a bit concerning that the door kept slamming closed. So we constantly had to warn the kids so that they wouldn't get knocked over or get their fingers slammed. Also with just a canvas covering one wall of the play area, the cold was just blowing into the restaurant if the door was left open. The floor manager and her brother, were so helpful and friendly, both of them really made an effort to accommodate us. This really made all the difference to our visit there. Would definitely return to be seated in the sections they are running.

Very nice atmosphere, beautiful play area for small and bigger kids. The food was delicious and definitely value for money. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Kid-friendliness: Beautiful, safe play area for small kids and even big kids have an area to play different games.

I asked for a take away, I had barely eaten any of my mountain of fries,when my take away bas brought to me i had so little fries I can count them on my two hands,this is very rude of you,I didnt pay to get all of my fries takenFood: 5/5

Came to spur for my birthday and was welcomed by an amazing soul Sammy aka Samantha and man did she make sure to deliver on excellent service.. Appreciate it so much and especially because we are all the way from GP, she really proved that people from MP are nothing but great. Keep it up girlfriend, your efforts did not go unnoticed

We went to Mountain Spring for supper last night. I just want to salute the team for excellent service. Precious our waiter was friendly and very efficient. Floor manager also came around just to check if everything was still in order and if we are enjoying ourselves. Food was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Mountain Spring for being the perfect host for our Valetines Family Dinner!!

Wrong order. Cold food . Unprofession staff. Dont go there. There are al lot of great restuarants within walking distance

Had the best service. They're good, friendly, and all the staff members who hav served me are calm.

Not overly a fan of the food. The chips were not crisp, but the rolls for the burgers were huge and the patee quite small. I had the cheddermalt mushroom and it was not nice and no mushrooms just a floury sauce. The calamari was Yumi and all the staff were smiles all roundFood: 3/5

The food was nice the staff who was waitressing us was nice service was nice but play area service kids were complaining about the staffs attitude and how rude she was Kid-friendliness: Staff in kiddies area was horrible
