Bargain Books Nelspruit

What excellent service. I called ahead to find out about a particular book, which they had in stock. I asked that they keep the book for me for a couple of days until I could visit the shop. Immediately received the book when I visited the shop. That's service. Thanks Bargain Books Nelspruit, always a pleasure to visit your well organized shop. Keep up the good work.

A wide selection of books. Something for everyone. I do feel however that prices are not 'bargain' enough. SA retailers are not competitive enough & don't seem to want to undercut their competitor who is round the corner & closed on Sunday afternoon. Also more books in each of SA's official languages, please. Not just Afrikaans. But loved the browse.

Friendly staff, that will go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. Books at a very affordable price. The one stop shop to fill your bookshelf or get an excellent gift for somebody

A very well stocked bookstore with a lovely bookworm atmosphere. The shelves were very neatly arranged and all books were in their correct places. The prices were competitive and did not make you feel like you are braking the bank by buying there. Over all an enjoyable experience visiting this store especially if you are a book lover. One note is that I spent well over 45 minutes in the store perusing the shelves and even though the store was almost empty other then myself and there were 3 attendants on duty I was not asked if I could be assisted once. The attendants interacted mostly with one another and though this made for an enjoyable work atmosphere it made me feel slightly excluded as a customer. The attendant that helped me check out and pay was very friendly and knowledgeable about the books. I was grateful to receive his honest opinion on one of the books I was thinking of buying.

I always read most books from Exclusive Books. Bargain Books has a limited range but will assist also. I exclusively enjoy game drive books

Bargain Books Nelspruit has a sizeable collection of books for various age groups; from novels to recipes books, nonfiction and Bibles. These are often sold at a more affordable price than most other first hand book stores. I distinctly remember the infamous and highly publicised biography of former president Jacob Zuma being sold for up to R100 less than other stores. In addition, there is almost always a sale or promotion running. The store is always clean and peaceful, and the customer service from employees is nothing short of excellent — aside from a single employee I encountered during one of my past visits before the pandemic: a young white woman who used racial microagressions. The manager is friendly, hands-on and efficient.

They're knowledgeable and go all out in assisting customers to get their needs. They had to order books for me more than once. Keep up the good work!

Unfortunately the art/craft/hobbies/health sections are seriously neglected and lack fresh and interesting publications that do exist. Management need to brush up on their skill!
