Cicada Restaurant Nelspruit

Waiters are very friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious! I had their pulled pork loaded fries- the cheese sauce to chips ratio was perfect. Cocktails are also very nice. Very nice vibe and atmosphere. Laid back but in a fancy way.

Have visited quite a few restaurants in Mbombela and this one of the better ones. The most annoying aspect is, one of the entrances is through the bar, where people where smoking and that is why I have given it only four stars. Exiting the restaurant through this entrance you should be careful as it leads directly onto the road. The staff where super friendly and efficient. It did not take long before the ordered drinks arived and couple of minutes later the ordered food arrived. The ribs, calamary, haloumie salat and burger where proffesional prepared. Pricing is average. This restaurant is commendable. Vegetarian options: Haloumi salat was fresh and tasty Wheelchair accessibility: Not to my knowledge

Had dinner here . Very vibey and cool. Great decor , great service. There was even live music on this evening. The food was just okay , and reasonably priced , and didn’t take that long to prepare. Would definitely go again.

Had a wonderful lunch at Cicada. The service staff ate polite and efficient. The owner took the time of day to pop around to see that we were happy. Happy we were with delicious food.

Simple resturant / bar serving up a mixed menu of apps, burgers, salads, large plates & sushi. Some of the other reviews said it had a great selection of craft beer, but I found their selection underwhelming and the bartenders could not describe what they were selling. They were also out of half if the beer selection. I ordered the sliders which were tasty and a jack black or two to wash it down with. The service was good, the place was clean, service staff was friendly and they even have a patio. I'd check them out again, but wouldn't go out of my way.
