Pick N Pay Liquor (Hayfields Mall)

Felt really disappointed at the service received at the bakery section today. I asked for some fresh soft hot dog rolls and was told that they only had the hard crisp ones that were on the shelf. Taking the employer at her word I said thank you and walked away. As I turned around she served another gentleman after me who had asked for the same thing. She then proceeded to walk to the back of the bakery and give him fresh rolls from the oven….rather disheartening service.

Terrible New lay out will take some getting used to. BUT what really makes me mad is that there is no fast queue, under 10 items.. buy 1 or 2 items have to get in the back of rather busy queues. No consideration for older people.. Fortunate to get 1 star.

Hayfields Pick n Pay is the worst .. only 3 tills open and the ques are right down the isles.. and no express till I have walked out on many occasions..

Milk was on special with R5 off with smartshopper card. It did not deduct at till. Had to go to the kisok to get a refund for the milk...the teller refunded the wrong item and wasted lunch time. Not impressed.

The cashier and packers when there's one to pack that is to say, are far too busy, load and more concerned about their private lives than assisting the customers who are actually the ones paying their wages/ salaries. There are of course one or two cashiers who are polite but it still doesn't make up for the rest.

I like that new products are being introduced. However the service has been so awful of recent. Staff are no longer cheerful and helpful. They're so slow at the tills. You have to wait for someone to serve you at the bakery, the manageress sees her staff chatting away and just leaves them when there's customers that need assistance clearly. We've lived in Hayfields for 24 years and never has the pick n pay been this bad. We literally take our business to spar solely because they give better service.

I bought 6 items online and I received only 5 items. The other one appeared to be out of stock after receiving the goods. I didn’t get a call or a substitute of the missing item neither a call on how to get my refund. When I called, they didn’t pickup. First time approach and I was so disappointed with the inconvenience caused.

Shouldn’t be called a picknpay. Everything is downhill fast. Service, store setup, staff.

Where is my money you have taken. I sm still waiting for my ASAP order from Thursday 24 November. Was given the wrong products. I want my money back

Always a great place to shop, lots of nice specials and the staff always friendly. The car guards are also very helpful.
