Small but efficient and friendly airport. Very user friendly and conveniently located. Not very busy and weather can be a factor forcing incoming planes to detour to King Shaka airport. Ideal for day visits to the city.

To my absolute surprise, l was delighted to find the Coffee Shop had reopened at the Pietermaritzburg Airport. My wife and l decided to try it out just before her flight and we were both impressed with their coffee and light meal. Thank you to the authorities and their private partners for bringing back something to eat at the airport while you wait for a flight.

Its small but it works, the coffee shop functions well and the waitress that served us was polite and friendly, I also found that checking in and baggage handling were quick and easy to process, once the aircraft is ready its a quick walk on the airfield to board the plane. Overall I had a decent experience to and fro from Pietermaritzburg Oribi Airport

I used to love flying from PMB airport. It was small but it had a coffee shop, it had a decent waiting area and they were efficient. Whilst it is still efficient to travel here with so few flights a day, the facilities have deteriorated so much over the years.

The airport is clean and staff are friendly and efficient. An update to my post! There is a great coffee shop now. Try it when you land.

Quick and fast.  Only problem is people have to pay R7 to pick you up from the airport

The airport was neat and tidy. Service was well received and staff was helpful  sufficient parking overall an pleasant experience

Fast and efficient service. Love it. 

Very small so very quick checkin. Friendly staff. Small coffee shop.

The Oribi Airport is not that busy, the Car rentals close early.
