We visited Pistol as an Adventure motorcycle group and were very impressed with the setup. I like the view when seated outside, but also the storyboards all over the place makes it really special. Food was good, although I would love o have an bit more chippies with the meals. Stuff is friendly and service good. We had a long ride before stopping here, so the cold beer and cool drinks were awesome!

Always a good stop for something to drink or a social outing with friends. Has a nice view outside, at the back. Pool table available, some wild west photos, and even petting a donkey and pig. Good vibe and nice place. Highly recommend a visit.Service: 3/5

Didn't stay long enough to eat but the orders that I did see looked really good. It's a very nice place, I think it would be even better on weekends, great vibe. Nice decor. Interesting. Also has a beautiful outside area. Definitely recommend  Parking: Awesome security guard ‍

Our beers were served ice cold the way I like it! Service wasn't that great especially when it was so quiet.  We waited forever to get the food and the bill. But drinks were ice cold and came quickly.  I loved the decor and feel of the bar. It makes you feel as if you're in a western movie. There's a beautiful view of a lake while you have a meal and some drinks. Unfortunately the museum was closed so we couldn't see that.

We ordered takeout. It took quite long. In total we waited 50 minutes for 2 pizzas but forsure woth the wait.  The place itself is not what it used to be and is really lacking some TLC. Also, I dont think it's as much a family bar anymore after the crowd I saw today.  But I definitely recommend the Pizza, it's really affordable and delicious.

Awesome vibes, love the theme, brilliant overall decor & menu design, the staff however have what’s seems like a “That’s your problem” attitude & seem to  not really even want to be there at all. I understand the theme although I don’t believe Pistol’sSaloon is any cleaner than the origins inside of the park the Wild West era being The place needs a good clean though, massive roaches & rats the size of cats.

Fun event with the kids.  Ask about the donkey & pig when you goFood: 4/5

I have not eaten here but those there on the day said they enjoyed there meal, what I love about this pub is that it is very original no other pub like it there is so much to see from an art point of view and the museum is something different, fantastic view from the terrace. I would have given a 5 star but I think there are a couple of thing when you walk though this pub sipping your drink that the owner could keep maintained. One example second time I've popped in for an ice cold beer and the basin in the gents toilet is still hanging on by a thred, a couple of signs out side the pub need attendance because they have fallen down, so fantastic venue but owners just be careful not to let simple maintenance slip.

Love this place. Has a real saloon look and feel to it! Great place for pub and grub. Menu and food is good. Donkey and pig interacts with kids. This place has a nice play are for young kids to keep them busy. The view outside/ smoking area has a great view over the river

Great fish & chips! The menu is shorter than it was on our last visit, a few years back, but it's still a lekker place for a decent lunch.Food: 4/5
