Very nice -state of the art, with "plenty" to chose, and allso place for more improvement.... Lock up for availability personal thinks, swimming pool cold..... for activity for prepare for the "climate change"....

Please avoid this gym at all costs. My boyfriend and I recently had the unfortunate experience of joining Planetfitness Fourways and I must say it was a complete disaster. I strongly advise anyone considering this gym too look elsewhere for their fitness needs. Here are a few reasons why I had such a terrible experience : 1. Unhygienic environment : cleanliness is clearly not a priority at this gym. The ladies locker room and bathrooms are consistently dirty and smelly. The overall lack of cleanliness made me question the gyms commitment to member well being. MOST IMPORTANTLY- there is no hot water available for you to shower!! Which really inconveniences you and make it impossible if you would like to work out and then head to work. I am an avid swimmer but I have not made use of their pool as it is also grimy. 2. The equipment in the highly marketed ladies gym is non functional, and just random and old. 3. Inattentive staff : There are never assistants on the gym floor to help with use of equipment. It seems like the employees are never interested in the paying members. 4. Overcrowding and limited space: the gym is overcrowded especially during peak hours. The limited space made it difficult to move around and complete workouts effectively. Especially when there are kids hogging the arm machines in the circuit. Overall save yourself the headache and find a different gym that values it's members and provides a clean well equipped environment for working out.

Over-charging a *student* account on multiple occasions despite speaking to the available managers twice; Poor customer service with regards to cancellations and complaints. Most equipment is faulty, broken or on its way out in the upstairs gym section. The "women's private gym" has the old, broken and unusable equipment. I wouldn't waste your time with planet fitness as a whole.

The gym has good equipment and trainers but the aircons upstairs don't work and it gets extremely hot this seems to be an on going issue at the gym. There is no communication with members on it and no commitment to fixing the problem. When you call the gym it's rare if they answer the phone. This gym has potential but isn't run well or maintained properly.

Seriously guys. Get your act together! 4 treadmills not calibrated / working upstairs in peak! Surely you had enough time during the day to get this sorted! Customer service 101!!!!!

Being a planet fitness member, obviously paying fees for all the facilities, however from the inception of my membership there have been issues with the aircon, having made numerous complaints to the managers and staff members, the issue still is as it was… How do we go forward when I have seen all the reviews about the same issue.. what is planet fitness as a company doing about this to rectify the issue?????

Great sized gym, has a pool, steam room and lots of equipment however there are a lot of equipment that is broken with no intention of fixing it, the bathrooms are always smelly and not cleaned regularly. There isn’t air conditioning working in the gym. The showers are not cleaned often and smells. Update: 05 June 2023 Previous rating was a 2 star, I wish I could rate a -minus star!!!! I’d rate them -5!!!! Just been to gym this morning after 3months ‍ dont ask lol! Nevertheless after my session head to the bathroom to have a shower only to find out that there had been no hot water for over a month with no ETA on resolution! I am going to be cancellation my membership today…

Something is always not functional at this branch, If it's not the steam room, it's hot water current situation right now or aircon, broken equipment and this has been going on for weeks. Additionally there's No sauna and then one has to deal with unpolite front desk admin especially the female ones. I have cancelled my membership, going back to Virgin Active. One of the better gyms in the Fourways/Bryanston area. Morning peak time is less busy than evening peak time. Lovely indoor pool, indoor track and most equipment is available. There are plenty options for classes as well

I have been going to this branch for over two years. I can honestly say I have never been impressed. The equipment is sub par or broken. Amenities such as fans and the aircon are broken and falling apart. The water stations have been broken for months. Valuable staff members leave because of poor management. I wish I could leave but this is the only gym in my area.
