Great local music ,great specials on burgers and steaks from Monday to Thursday at affordable prices even on beers and spirits, great service aswell. Highly recommended

Nice venue for dancing with mostly Afrikaans music. Drinks are reasonably priced, not cheap but not expensive. This used to be a place where older couples could get their sokkie on. I think it became more popular with the younger crowd and the ensuing incidents synonymous with such a crowd has led to such couples to seek entertainment elsewhere. It used to be a very friendly and safe environment but I have personally witnessed multiple distasteful incidents.
Wow had an absolute blast visiting your establishment. We were in Cape Town with a few friends for the weekend and ended up spending the whole evening at Plattelanders, dancing the night away. Thank you and compliments to making our stay in Cape Town so much fun. Would definitely be visiting them again with our next trip. 5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoy the fact that you can eat and drink and then later the night the dance floor opens. It's amazing.
Spacious dance floor at least relative to the amount of people & excellent music. I was sceptical about how big a deal they made out of their DJ's, but I've genuinely never heard better sokkie music.
One word - disgusting. Filthy stinky toilets. Dirty tables. Disgusting food. Ordered ribs it tasted rotten. Chips obviously fried in old oil. Waiters sitting around and smoking all the time. Won’t ever go there again!
This will alway remain the best daans spot in the Helderberg area for me. Love the food and great for big groups... Can get very busy but most of the time it's a lekker jol... They manage to get some great and talanted performers for shows.. My favorite place to relax eat and daans..
Smokers are sent outside in the cold without easy access to the dans floor. This results in you having to carry all your belongings onto the dans floor every time you want to dance. I understand that non smokers should have the right to enjoy them self's, but so do smokers.
Went there on a Saturday night at 1am, the sign on the door says 2am close. Bold head door attendant wouldn't let us in. Disregarding your own business hours, from a business perspective thats just dumb. Your loss, I'll take my money elsewhere from now on.
