Pnp Musgrave

Store is revamping which is understandable but floors are dangerously uneven, aisles are mixed up and chaotic. Tills have 15 + people in each queue and it is taking almost 10 minutes per customer. Sign says "Apologies for the inconvenience, our renovations will be worth it", will it though...?

Pick ‘n pay liquor is absolutely septic. There are live and dead cockroaches amongst grime infested in the fridges and on the ground. It has clearly not been cleaned in YEARS. I actually feel sick after being inside that store- pure filth. The staff are also very rude, even though they clearly don’t do anything. This is my first review, I feel obligated to announce what a piece of work the store is.

What an awesome store this has become from the drab rundown pre revamp. The staff energy is up and friendly and so helpful. Ivan the manager is involved and always uplifting his staff, you can see the respect between them all. Well done team Musgrave... Keep it up

After the revamp the store looks great. Thank you for stocking Hotwheels and Matchbox cars I got some beautiful cars for my collection.

Most tills are offline. They’re using one card machine throughout the cashiers in such a big store. The cashiers are absolutely rude,they have to manually give you a discount however they refused to due to laziness. I had to wait for an hour in the the queue just to pay because of the cashiers not knowing what to do and the card machine being passed around. Wouldn’t recommend coming to this store to shop.

The service there is very poor you wait for 10 full minutes for a supervisor to authorise. The pack stole items from my grocery because i bought two small packs of chocolate wafers when i was driving home to have some both were not there and i couldn’t drive back n addition to that the cashier and her packer were very vulgar talking about their sexlife etc in addition to which they spoke of how they don’t care if customers leave or not. The experience was terrible……. appalling to say the least

Musgrave centre Pick n Pay is one of the best in Durban. Clean and with friendly staff who keep the fruit and veg stock fresh and as well as the butchery and bakery has many a wonderful smell. The hidden gem in this store is the sushi. Well trained and consistent sushi ensures that we make a trip when we have the craving and it doesn't hurt that it's great value for money. Keep up the great work team.

Shockingly terrible service from this store outlet. This is a long review, kindly bear with me to the end, I don't usually write this long, but this story must be told. We've all gotten used to the pick n pay service: well managed and diverse kitchen, helpful staff, fast moving queues, well designed store outline etc. None of these things exist at pick n pay Musgrave. Its unbelievable. Firstly, the design: everything seems to be jumbled up and things just put on top of each other by someone with no retail experience at all! The bakery seems to be nowhere to be found, if you don't ask someone or just wonder around the store you may never find it, its tucked away behind a huge banner advert and some small stacks of items placed arbitrarily around the store. I never found the kitchen area. Maybe it's there, maybe it's not, and the fact that I went around the store but don't have this answer is shocking. Secondly, the service. Its terrible, just terrible. Honestly, it's worse than even the worst Shoprite I've ever been to. There was absolutely noone manning the produce weighing section and I made three rounds in the store coming back to see if anyone can weigh my bananas, to no avail. I ended up just throwing them aside. Then the queue, huh, that's something. Despite having just 4 people in front of me, I spent countless minutes in queue, the operators kept chatting amongst themselves and nearly every transaction seemed to require a void from the supervisor! When I finally got to the end and paid for my stuff, you won't be surprised to hear, the lady gave me extra change! If I hadn't checked my change because I'd already lost all faith with this store, I'd have gone with her money! In a nutshell, this shop is definitely a non starter as it is, they have massive room for improvement.

In the process of renovations. So it's a bit of run around. Exercise! Prices have shot up in a week! Their staff were very helpful & kind
