Police Service

Someone has broken into a friend's car and we called the cops at 20h19. They only arrived at 20h39 in one of the mini busses, with a passenger on board. They have no concern for the safety of the people that called, as suspects could still have been close by.

If I can give 0 I would... The service is absolutely shocking, the officers are rude and no sense of pride in their work.

Yesterday someone broke in and almost stole my laptop through a window in our backyard while I was at home. The experience at the police station for giving my statement was honestly worse than the actual incident it self. I was obviously rattled, but was met with no sympathy, rather a rude, belittling, patronizing and sarcastic tone and comments which made me feel as if i did something wrong for coming in to give a statement even though my laptop did not end up getting stolen. I was so shocked at how unbelievably helpless I felt going there. I could just as well have left it, because the guy will probably be set free in anyway. Thanks for nothing SAPS

I called Potchefstroom police station, asking for advice on what to do about Potchefstroom granite that we paid for a tombstone & they never came to erect the tombstone, very disappointed by the person who answered me, telling me that I am not the first person complaining about that & what must they do now cause that business is closed, they were not there when we give this people the money?.... & as I was telling her what is it exactly that she is telling me she puts the phone down not hanging up.Is this the police that are supposed to protect the people, I believe now this is one of the reason the criminals are doing as they wish, they know their sisters are working as police & will protect them. This is not the end

Trying to get a travel permit to go to gauteng. But the the officer refused us for no apparent reason. Very very bad service. If I could give -10 stars I would.

The service is terrible. The lady that I spoke to this morning was very rude from the minute she answered the phone and she was very patronizing and sarcastic. I did not receive the help I needed.

They don't even answer their phones. It's absolutely pathetic.

I've been trying to phone the police all day. Not even the 10111 number works. Why do we have police?
