Post Office - Pinegowrie Post Office

The place needs maintenance but since they are govt owned, one can expect that will never happen. I always renew my car licence here, it takes 5 mins. No issues with collection of international parcels either.

Only reason for any stars is that the person assisting me was friendly. In general the service is extremely inefficient.

Worst service ever. All of them are lazy and has a lot of excuses not to assist. They can close down as there is no service at all. Not friendly. Postal services should be given to somebody that wants to do it. They are useless.

They at least have 3 tills doing licenses and the staff is very friendly. The day I was there the card machines was also working but I suggest that you rather try and have cash on hand just to make your life less stressful at the post office.

So it's very difficult to give the post office a 5 star rating because of the disastrous state that they are in. Having said that, the ladies at Pinegowrie did their very best to assist me with a smile on their faces. I don't use postal services if I can avoid it but they assisted me speedily to renew my car license after two unsuccessful attempts at Linden post office due to a sheer unwillingness to help me. The postal service is in a shambles but judging from their interactions with me and other clients in the Post Office at the time, these ladies will do their best to help you despite their limited resources and having their hands tied. Thank you Pinegowrie staff. This rating is not for the South African Postal Services but for you!

Useless they never pick up the phone. Have been calling for months and it has been answered only once on 25/01/2021 and that one time that white lady was unhelpful. Was trying to check if my parcel is there, which was sent to them by customs last year October 2020. But apparently it was not scanned. How useless. I still have not received my parcel.

The Post Office was clean and the staff members were well groomed and polite. There was no long queue, and the service I received from SHIRLEY BOSHOMANE was excellent! She was patient, efficient and caring - I walked out of there with a smile on my face!

They never answer the phone which is troubling. Having to physically go into a post office just to check something, especially during a pandemic, is pretty unsafe and inconvenient.

Good friendly staff-enormous parking area, clean and well positioned. Like always though, there is so much potential to do many, many things-just a typical example of good talent going to waste! SAPO do something positive and aid the wonderful workers there to be a shining example of excellence. Could be a modern, profitable outlet, but really let down by lack of funding and lack of modernization and technology-still the old hassles of forms and paperwork, will frustrate you every time.

These people find perverse pleasure in locking post boxes that have been paid for. Happened twice in two months.Why? The sooner the government close them down the better.
