My parcel was sent to the Rustenberg post office, I know this because the post office from Pretoria said they send it to Rustenberg. I have called them many times only for them to tell me they will track my parcel and they will get back to me and never get back to me. I took my time and went to the post office physically and the service was bad the ladies didn’t even seem interested to help me, the worst thing is they left me waiting for feedback and went to have lunch and the lady who was supposed to help me didn’t even seem interested to help so I decided to leave because as much as their service is bad over the phone it’s also bad at the post office. Till today I’m still trying to track my parcel but I can’t track it because it’s stuck with people who are not happy with their job. Bad bad post office.
By all means, try and avoid deliveries to and by them at all costs. They can't keep their systems upto date, they can't record parcels properly. They can't even send timley notices or SMS about parcels or even if they do at all. I've had to use external apps and persistence to get some of my parcels. This is sad and pathetic and if I could, I would find a way to pay customs in other ways just to avoid the parcel going to the post office. Of course there are those few employees who go out of their way and im appreciative of them, but overall service is dreadful. Get more staff, or shut down and stop making it the consumer's problem and loss
Closing time is 1 o'clock but they were closed way before.
Day 2, Hour after post-office suppose to open, its still closed with huge que around the building. Did it also Closedown like Waterfall Mall and Protea Park post-offices in Rustenburg.
If the Post office is under staffed i think there are people who are willing to work part time to speed up the work system. Unpacking the international parcels and sending out sms for collection. I understand due to Covid-19 this can be slow but some people have been waiting for their parcels for months now and are scared that they may get lost or sent back. I would prefer to go in person to find out about my parcel than calling.
When you find a real good staff member, they are real helpful but there is this one old lady who hates her job there,unfortunately she didn't have a tag name. I was ready to expose her,she doesn't want to look for international parcels but other staff members take their precious time in finding those parcels. Anyway, keep it up to the rest of the staff
The service there is poor.. The staff are rude. They never answer the phone. Got ther just before 5 and the security was rude and telling they wont help me because they are closed, and I told him it was not 5pm yet. The lady that was helping me was so so rude, unfortunately she didnt have her name tag on. Those people must just let to be proffessional....
Always dread going here.. you will always find a queue and find it very busy. Staff are slow and don't care about customer service.
Service is poor. P. S. They steal from parcels, and tape them up again. So check your things. Reporting problems doesn't help either. Total abortion.
They always let me hold for more than an hour for a manager or supervisor concerning my query, they don't answer phone mostly and they don't return calls either. Very poor service
