Quite a terrible experience. Unfriendly staff, misleading and deliberately misguiding me to not have to work is what I faced at dep of labour Potch. As if being sent away to refill forms 3 times for no apparent reason wasn't enough, when I arrived back I was met with:" sorry were closed, at 12:30 mid day AND "our systems are offline". After stating that I was here already and that this was the 3rd attempt I was allowed a spot in the que. They were not closed and the systems were not offline. I was eventually assisted but to no avail, as my information was not displaying properly on the UIF system. With no help with regards to next steps in the process I eventually left, still frustrated. Ironic that the UIF website says: "working for you". All this in a simple attempt to claim back for paternity leave.
