Premier Diamond Mine Tours.

Excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and in great details. We didn’t get to go underground but it didn’t matter as you already see a lot on the surface and get to learn a lot on the functioning of the mine and on diamonds. It is a bit confusing upon arrival as two separate tour agencies share the same premises but once we had found our guide we really enjoyed it. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen!

What an awesome experience! Nice outing for a family on the weekend. Just be sure to wear closed shoes and no children under 10.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. We were safety helmets and went in areas that allowed us to see the original mine and the machinery at work.

Born in 1936 & grew up at Cullinan completed Fittng & Turner apprenticeship in 1958. Then ventured to Johannesburg to further Education and joined Vacuum Oil Co. Various other employment & took up accommodation in other Provinces till retirement from Anglo American organisation in 1999. Thereafter Re-located to Australia in 2008 on retirement now in year 2015 still enjoying life.

Excellent tour that lasts 5 hrs from beginning to end. You get to actually go into a working diamond mine, down the shaft and 5km walk in the working tunnels... Must go!
