"Pure Venom Snake and Reptile Park has one of the largest varieties of snakes and reptiles on the Southern Hemisphere. We also have a selection of exotic birds and a farm animal petting zoo. We host kiddies birthday parties and travel to schools and businesses for demonstrations. We have a small curio shop with cold drinks and snacks. Great little snake park with some rare finds. There are other animals there such as emus, pot belly pigs, frogs, crocs and petting zoo. Enjoyed the hour or so there. Thanks to Jordan for all the explanations and for showing us around.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
We took our son for his 5th birthday. Never seen so many different types of snakes. After we had to ask for a tour guide as indicated they called Jordan. They adjusted the snakes in the cages so that we could see their movement. We enjoyed the informative and display of snakes so much. From snakes to crocodiles, alligators, frogs, turtles, iguanas, spiders, birds, bunnies, and so much more. The cages were clean, animals well looked after. We assumed they were busy with construction as the play /petting zoo was left abid neglected alot of building rubble lying around. We didn't want our kids to play there. Overall a good place to go for an outing.
Pure Venom is a small park with a bunch of beautiful snakes in glass cages. Loads of crocs that lay around like statues and the petting zoo is just a wild collection of way to many farm animals. I felt a bit sorry for the animals in those small cages, often alone. The place itself is in desperate need of some TLC and has a bit of a rundown feeling to it. The kids play area was non existing when we visited. Would not really recommend to my friends going here, unless you are bored and have nothing else to do.
A good variety of snakes in clean and neat cages. Rest of the animals on the premises are not so lucky. Guinea pigs over crowded in cages, other animals totally alone with no company. Very little stimulation or toys for the birds & monkey. Guide not very helpful or friendly. Play area not save at all to children with building rubble laying around. Definitely not worth the entry money.
Just had the most awesome time here! There are a variety of snakes, crocs and a some farm animals as well. A man by the name Jordan showed us around and let us touch some of the animals! We learnt a lot and had a great time. It's an affordable activity and the experience is worth it. Highly recommend going here.Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Park is ok, some open air displays are empty. They do have some nice animals on display but a guided tour to do a bit of talking around the different reptiles would make the entrance fee a bit more palatableVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
The animal cages and park are kept beautifully clean. The animals are well cared for and we had a great time as Donavan, one of the caretakers, explained many interesting details about the snakes and the park. We got to hold a Ball Python, and a 3 month old crocodile. They have the cutest little goat and friendly birds that we could pet. In all it was a lovely experience!
Excellent outing with the kids. Big variety of snakes and reptiles to see. The staff was very helpful and went out if their way to make it exceptional for the kids. Great day out, will do it again.
A bit pricey too go in but once in you can see that the price is justified. Incredible range of snakes. Very friendly and informative staff. Other animals were a treat as well.
