Certain activities may require bookings, the rest are first come first serve. Great for the adrenaline seekers. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There is gorge-ous scenery, a swinging bridge, a hiking trail, abseiling, gorge jump/swing, quad bikes, wild slide and paint balling. There is a variety of activities for meek to wild adventure seekers. They have a shop which sells snacks and drinks and there are toilet facilities on site.
Firstly the drive here is beautiful take your time with the curves! It’s only R30 to get in and you get to go on the suspension bridge ! Oribi gorge is a must see! We drove through the Oribi nature reserve, it was spectacular! We found Wild 5 Adventures with ease and it was buzzing. R30 pp to enter. We did the suspension bridge and zip lining. The suspension bridge is awesome! No charge. Zip lining is pricey for what you getting and you only go about 3/4 of the way and then they pull you back. It was more fun to watch the bunjee jumpers! We sat for a long time at the edge of the cliffs taking in the stunning views. It gets very hot so put on plenty of Sun screen. Unfortunately we didn’t book in advance for the quad biking so we were disappointed that we missed out due to our own error of not checking beforehand. Highly recommend as a day out activity.
Sizwe is a legend. Awesome guy who provided excellent service at the high bungee jump swing. The jump is spectacular in the sense that you are jumping next to a beautiful waterfall and it really high, like really high. It is in fact the highest gorge swing in the world. There are many other activities to choose from such as zip lining, quad biking and a rickety suspension bridge suspended above the gorge.
Oribi gorge was a nice experience . A new bridge was added since my last visit, this bridge is not for the faint hearted but. Waterfall is still beautiful. I just think they need to add more railings to the place as it is to open for me.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

For those that are thrill seeking, adrenaline chasers and fancy an adventure hike, this is for you. Finding the wild 5 adventures was simple, their signs are everywhere and easy to follow. Their staff are super friendly and great conversationalists especially if you’re going to do the exhilarating leap off the edge. They keep you calm and relaxed. The scenery is incredibly beautiful and fresh. I would suggest going in the earlier part of the day, you might catch the sunlight hit the waterfall creating a spectacular rainbow over the lush green and blue cloud sky backdrop. If the free fall rush isn’t for you, a great option would be the slide. Over the suspension bridges you will be able to see a fantastic view of the entire fall. If you choose to do the hike, DO NOT START AFTER 3. The trail is only 150m but it is a rocky trail that requires you to be able to see as the forest is quite dense and as the sun sets, it gets pretty dark. Wear appropriate clothes, shoes so you don’t slip and carry plenty of water. A real hidden gem of South Africa. 10/10 would recommend.
