I attended my cousin's wedding on ghe 17 December 2022. I was not happy with the following: * the stage was dark, we couldn't see the bright groom. They should get stronger generator * The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful. It was raining and some guests moved their cars from the mud and flooded side to the grass. They we're shouted at like animals. He could have spoken to them normally. He was just rude to a lot if guests. I won't jother hiring the place.
WOW what a wonderful weekend away at Remetsi Game Lodge! This recently renovated gem is the perfect spot if you are looking for an authentic South African style safari, amazing quadbiking adventure and fantastic food! The rooms were fit with flat screen TVs, WIFI and modern bathrooms. We will definitely be back!
I need to share my story, as to my hunting weekend @ Rametsi Game Lodge, and how to find the right words to describe the experience. I dont think there is words to describe the weekend except. WOW WOW WOW. Eddie and TEAM thank you for a phenomenal weekend. The location, the TEAM, the hospitality, the experience, the knowledge was just mind blowing. Thank you for hosting us on short notice and thank you for everything that you have done for us. You and your TEAM went above and beyond. I hope to see you again VERY soon. Jaco Burger
Good place but need a little bit of life,
Had a great time. Got a nice tan and caught some fish with my family. After a hot day at the dam we had some fun at the lodge in the pools... Love the set up of the pools as the whole family can enjoy it. Baby pool, kiddie pool and big pool to top it all of with a water feature... WOW !!!!

On arrival we had 1 week booked but seeing this place in person made us want to leave right away we only stayed 3 days and they REFUSED OUR REFUND , the one couple chalet we booked had an extremely nauseating smell , linen was dirty and bed was extremely hard only felt springs. The stove didnt work and tge room was full of insects. The dishes and toilet was dirty ,the shower haf NO pressure at all , the tub took 4 hours to fill halfway. We later complained and only the next day we got another chalet which was available with a shower that had pressure. the campsite bathroom had frogs and spiders all over , the fridge and freezer they gave us did not work at all , our food went off, mosly thorns , the only plus is that there is lots of shade and to us indians we felt discriminated against. There was rules of no quad biking and no loud music but the owners had 7 quads riding up and down and they had music playing out loud. If you want your guests to follow your rules you should set an example. There is a jungle gym or what supposed to be a jungle gym , a broken volleyball net There is pools , but most of the chairs are broken , bird watching ? I think they captured 4 pigeons and put them in a cage . False advertising. Until someone doesnt sue them nothing will happen. We were the only family here but totally makes sense why . Terrible Place , should NEVER COME HERE .
Amazing wildlife. Since the new management, quality has improved overall, with decent amenities, and wonderful routes to explore. With no large predators, it is fairly safe to go for a walk among the animals, of which there is plenty, as well the short route to the Waterfall. The dam allows for fishing, and swimming. A must visit in the area
Looks like it used to have a lot of potential, but it’s all run down now. The rooms were very dusty insects everywhere. There were cob webs everywhere. The rooms had a bad smell. The bed linens had stains all over. Unpleasant
Really disappointed, not like the pictures advertised, when we arrived we had to ask for another room because the one we were given was so disgusting. When asked about the advertised pictures and the room, the reception told us the pictures where almost 10 years old. We left a day earlier because we couldn't stay there another night.
