Great facility in a great position but really getting old. Tye AstroTurf is worn and the grandstand seats are all falling apart. Needs an upgrade

Parking is now more secure at the top. The turf that holds lots of memories.

Astroturf is well maintained and seating is ample. Shade is scares as can be expected with a bit of a walk to the bar and ablution but worth the walk. Bar fees are a bit on the high side Casino high but for a day out to watch your kids play; well worth it!

Much safer since fences have been erected. Parking a nightmare though

I've watched some great matches here and played on the astro myself. The grand stand is pretty close to the action so you'll most likely not miss out on any action. And if you play there, you're probably going to enjoy the experience more if you win of course

The home of Southern Gauteng Hockey Association. International standard field hockey facilities, including well stocked bar at reasonable prices. Also has TV's so that you can keep an eye on other sporting events. The fields themselves need some work however as they tend to pool in places when the turf is watered. Car guards on duty in the area are always friendly and regulars to the facility. Please tip them.
