"RAW Fitness" builds its foundations around the belief that everyone is an athlete, and that through the correct training, diet, and rest our true potential can grow. As our name states, we are RAW! We do not believe in fancy machines. If an athlete cannot perform an exercises with their own body weight, and maintain the correct form and co-ordination throughout the movement, then that athlete is not ready to be loaded with weights.
Our structures are simple, first the brain needs to accept and develop the neuromuscular ability to move. Once this is achieved then we will develop and increase the muscle mass and strength needed. This will ensure the new muscles can withstand the daily requirements placed on them, and lastly we will educate these muscle to increase speed, power and agility. Again, our training methods are "raw", with our focus in exercise being the four power lifts almost every professional athlete masters. These are the squat, deadlift, bench press, and finally the clean & press.
