Possibly the best local fish store in Cape town. Great range of Freshwater fish, Saltwater fish, corals, plants, equipment and supplies at decent prices. Gary is super passionate about the hobby and has really upped the standards with the shop. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. All the fish I have purchased there have been healthy and relatively well priced. They'll definitely have my continued support.

Amazing service under the new owner JP. Amazing customer service and they not looking to get the most out of your pocket, they actually give DIY advice. Clued up on Fresh Marine and Pond water setups and know their customers by name. Store is friendly and had some amazing client to client conversations. Definitely the best aquatic store in Cape Town.

Service was awesome, but shop was dark due to Loadshedding.. No emergency lights hence the 3 star rating but very friendly service

Wide variety of fish, marine corals, tanks and everything you need to set up amd maintain your aquarium. Owners very knowlegable.

Prices are fairly reasonable, but selection of fish and accessories is very poor. I also found at least 1 dead or dying fish in each and every tank as well as a number of fish living inside the filters. Parking situation is a nightmare as well due to being located on a busy stretch of Voortrekker road.

They're a fairly new store and the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Time will tell if they continue with this, which I hope they do. As the saying goes in Afrikaans, 'n nuwe besem vee skoon

I purchased a 300W heater at a very good price, unfortunately CourierIT lost the package. As soon as JP realized it would not be delivered he dispatched another heater at no additional expense to me. Thanks for the excellent service and customer care.

This place rocks. You get what you pay for and I'd rather pay slightly more for the quality of products, plants and livestock available at RBM. The variety of freshwater and marine livestock is impressive! The staff are extremely knowledgeable and aren't just guessing like the staff at other nearby aquatic stores do. Really thrilled to be a patron of such a fine store and will be back very soon!
