My partner and I visited for the second time. First time was during covid and the place felt a bit rundown, steam room wasn’t working, smelled and looked dirty. Overall, not well taken care of. I didn’t want to review them because I felt it could be because of covid. But now…. The massage was good. People are kind and helpful. The place has a nice pool on a rooftop where you can relax in peace. Basic but nice. The downside is that the place still feels kinda rundown. The massage table and pillow are clearly due for renewal see pics. The sauna was not hot at all and it took over 10 minutes for me to even sweat a bit. No thermometer, no clock/timer. The steam room was broken again or turned off?. The robes we even had two didn’t smell nice, neither did the towels. And finally, we couldn’t even use the warm indoor pool because they didn’t check the temperature, and of course this time something was wrong, resulting in extremely hot water. Overall this place is below standards. You pay the same price as any other spa in the area but get much less in return.

Love everything about the Spa, the decor, the friendly staff, the indoor and outdoor pool. Plus you can order a meal and drink from the restaurant downstairs while at the pool which was really cool I had a glass of sparkling wine while enjoying the African sun.

What an absolutely amazing experience. I would recommend the rasul chamber! So peaceful and so different to anything I have experienced. The full body massage has been one of the best I have had in a long time. I left there feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and makes you feel comfortable. Facilities are clean. I also enjoyed the indoor heated pool as well. Go try this place out. You won’t regret it.

The pool outside provides a lovely experience. Treatments are good. Indoor pool is relaxing with a self-serve coffee station at hand. I wish the steam room was nicer looking, but it was effective and did the job. The place was clean overall and I have no complaints.

On the phone are not polite! On arrival they receptionists are not polite hardly lifted head from the desk. PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY SAY TO YOU ON ARRIVAL!!! What you have booked for on the phone is not actually what you get given and they WILL BLAME YOU! They gave me a CBD OIL massage, I can not have this and would never ever book this treatment. When I found out about this I was hysterical and had a panic attack!!! Literally! Hyperventilating but the therapist said that they had told me and of course that makes it ok… I would never book this!!! Please listen to what you are consenting to! I have never been to a spa like this before! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SPA!

Went there for my birthday in January and the service was terrible. Did not give my friends and I equal treatment and they painted my nails horrible. When I spoke to them about it they wearnt helpful at all. There are much better spas for the price you pay !

So I rarely rate places badly. I rather just don't rate them but in this case I feel this spa needs a change for fear of losing more customers. We visited this spa 5 years ago and said we wouldn't return. Thought we'd give it another try half a decade later hoping for the best. Exactly the same experience. Constant sales pitch to buy products which turned a relaxing spa treament into a constant barrage of statements like "your skin is in desperate need of this product" to "normal Clicks store products are terrible" We were only there for 1 hour and after I said I don't use products like these several times, I was harassed to the bitter end. On top of this, the place is tiny, cramped, no windows, no sense of calm, no space for energy to flow. It's a compact room to another compact room. I gave 2 stars because I thought the therapist provided a good treatment and knew what she was doing but the overall experience for myself and my wife for a relaxing Friday night was tarnashed and instead of feeling revitalized to go out for a relaxing dinner afterwards we felt low on energy and just headed straight home. So the exact opposite of what we usually get from a spa treatment. Renaissance spa, look at a renovation in your near future and please talk to your therapists about hard selling products. Better to have recurring guests that might buy a product due to several great treatments than 1 time guests that will never come back to get a treatment and thus never buy a product. It's working 2 fold against the therapists because I normally tip quite generously, much higher than any commission they might get off of products but I tipped half of what I normally tip because I really didn't enjoy the evening and that's a night I'll never get back.

Beyond disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend this spa. Booked for a friend and I on a 2 hour create your own package. We were on time for treatment s to start at 1pm but wee taken in after 1pm and done precisely at 3pm. Less than the 2 hours we booked for! Polish on both manicures completely bubbled, my friends nails were all uneven and different shapes and the remnants of paint around the nail bed and under the nails on both of us made it look worse than a bad home job. Manis were also done straight after massages which is ridiculous as they completely smudge when you need to get dressed. They should’ve let us change and then done the mani. Front desk did offer to redo the bubbled nails but unfortunately I don’t have the luxury of time to sit and wait for paint to dry twice. A voucher and skilled nail technician would have been preferred. Staff need training for this to be an upmarket spa.

Rennaisance spa is horrible!! Don't waste your money, i repeat don't waste your money on them, the service is horrible and they just don't care if you are happy or not, as for me I'm not even gonna let them getaway with wasting my money,soze!
