First time i saw Dr was for varicose veins. We treated it but she said something about me that i didn't fill in on any of the forms. She has been our family Dr since then. The Renascent health ladies are lovely from the admin staff to all the new practitioners. The Renascent family helped me and my family holistically in general health matters to mental health. We are thankful to all the professionals at Renascent health. Dr Leila is a true gem

My recommendation of Renascent Health to my personal circle and to anyone considering investing in their health is a golden 5. I visited Dr. Leila on 16 Sept. 2020 at my very lowest, poorest health state. I could not understand why my weight had been stagnant for years, albeit barely eating and light exercise. After a 90 minute, intensive consultation – Dr. Leila proposed a roadmap / plan with the choice of, 'Are you ready to commit to this programme?'. I didn't hesitate in committing to a healthier me. We started a detox in Oct. for 10 days, followed by 2 months of the programme - all of which I had lost +5kg. One year later and I am still down all the weight. My journey consisted of improving my overall health - physical, emotional and spiritual health. We achieved that with phenomenal support calls, text, WhatsApp, in person from Dr. Leila and her entire practice staff. I've completed my programme confidently stating that I made the best investment in myself by joining the Renascent Health Tribe. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Dr. Leila and to your entire staff for supporting, encouraging and helping me level up. Forever Grateful!

I would unfortunately not recommend going here. There are two receptionists, one really lovely lady that made me feel super welcome Elnora is GREAT and then her colleague who is so rude and has the worst attitude I’ve ever come across in a professional environment. She never sent follow up emails, I had to call to request the diet and the email explaining everything I needed to do. I went in to buy the next batch of kinesiology Balance supplements and she told me it would cost R3700, I had already spent over R8000 in the first consult and that excludes the R5000 for blood tests and I was shocked at the price for the second round of supplements. She was very annoyed that I said I would not be paying that and that I’d rather leave the pills.I went directly onto the Kinesiology Balance range website and it costs R1700… They are almost charging DOUBLE! I also find the diet extremely harmful and very dangerous for a doctor to recommend as eating 550 calories a day is NOT healthy at all. Obviously you loose weight because you hardly eat. The saddest part is that this establishment partners up with “influencers “ to promote the program. This is my honest opinion and I really wish I knew this would just be another money making thing before I signed on. If this is something you’d like to do, get a quote first.

Janine, the person you describe as rude an unprofessional, is our practice manager and since working with us, has never had anyone complain of her in this way. Her nature is warm and welcoming to a fault and if there was some reason she did not present this on the day of your engagement, then I'm certain there was an exceptional reason for it. She is well aware of this review, is deeply apologetic for your experience and has committed to doing even better to ensure that her clients don't ever have this experience. Wrt to your next complaint about the KinesioBalance price difference, our price includes the support, time and expertise of myself and staff as well as the many uncharged benefits of our Wonder Weight Journey, including BIA assessment, unlimited WhatsApp support, complimentary coaching onto the program and advice for post-weight loss, life management advice. Purchasing online, only sends you the drops, no diet or any other advice. The diet is not harmful at all nor it is dangerous, it is scientifically designed to support 10kg of fat burning in a month, in conjunction with the CORRECT medical support. Im afraid you are also incorrect in your assumption that eating 580 / 550 calories / day will make you burn fat, starvation induces more fat production, so that is in no way an effective form of weight loss. It is also not intended as a way of life, but rather as a short term focus on fat burning, before we move clients onto a healthy sustainable diet to maintain their weight. As an integrative medical practice, our focus is to optimise health holistically, so promoting a harmful program would make absolutely no sense at all. Lastly, Renascent Health partners up with influencers who approach us to lose weight, we have never paid a single influencer for promoting weight loss or any other treatment since our inception. They love what we do, they love their results and they happily share their honest experiences with their followers. And we are very grateful to them for choosing to remain part of our family.
