Didn't see any bathroom facilities. But a very nice little park for the kids to play. Clean and well maintained. Be sure to hop onto the tram at the entrance for a little journey around Century City. Playground: Clean and well maintained Restrooms: Could not find any? Picnic area: Clean with seating benches, no tables, suggest to bring a picnic blanket.
What a little gem. Beautiful, clean, well maintained, safe park. Well paved waking paths with a little waterfall, beautiful plants and trees, lots of canals and artwork scattered around the park. There is also a big playground for the kids and a nice place to have picnics. Also dog friendly. Biggest negative is the parking is limited to only 30 minutes, but it is enough time if you only want to complete the walking path. I suggest you park at Canal Walk or take the My City bus that stops very close to the park, if you want to spend more time there.
Just serene...a great place to meditate while surrounded by nature. I can hear the birds chirping, the sound of trees and a breeze reminding you just what a miracle it is to be alive.
Love the water features. There's a small little park with mostly swings. It's a nice space for a scenic walk. It's surrounded by a lot of construction work. If you're not sure where to park it can be tricky. Playground: There is a small playground Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly Picnic area: Plenty of grass and some benches
Fantastic place lovely paved walkways ,lush green lawns. It's a pity the old Ratanga is gone but this an amazing replacement. They aren't done renovating though. Parking is almost non existent soo be mindful of that plus the fact that there is no bathrooms
I must say I'm impressed, once again. This is the third piece of wetland which the developers have finalised first was the big basin along Ocean Spirit Road, second was Intaka Island, and then I thought they were done so Ratanga Park was a surprise. This one looks a bit like the park area at Sun City - big rock structures, lots of trees, lawns, benches, well-cultivated and maintained indigenous plant areas, well maintained children's play equipment, paths and a waterway that meanders through the grounds. There are people sitting on the lawn overlooking the water reading their books etc. Multitude of bird species. There are two big construction sites around the park but they'll be completed sooner or later, and the vegetation will easily absorb the noise from the nearby N1 freeway.
My favourite park in century city. This park is perfect for morning walks with family or friends. I am yet to have a picnic at this park but I am sure it is the perfect place to have a picnic. My favourite feature is the waterfall.
Nice chilled place to take a morning stroll. Includes a small park for children and some nice scenery. Only challenge is the 30 minute limit on the free parking.
Had a picnic here and it was lovely. The park has lots of beautiful views, especially the view of Table Mountain. There are a couple of small man-made waterfalls too. The pathways are nicely designed as well. Really enjoyed visiting the park. My only issue was finding parking, it was a bit difficult to figure out where the public parking was.
Beautiful park. Very well kept. Great for skating. Would definitely visit again!
