"Haniya is my granddaughter and means Happiness, Peaceful and Pleasant. I've been at home for 22 years and wanted to start something that's meaningful with a good purpose. A place where the community can come and relax and have a cup of coffee or tea, nice homemade food or just a takeaway. I also saw the need specifically for our Muslim community to have a place where they can come sit and relax instead of driving all the way to Cape Town or other places. I also hope that HANIYA'S will bring families and friends together as we have been through so much trauma during the pandemic.
