What a beautiful place to visit, I had a great time. Nice beautiful gardening views, so quite and peaceful, staff are so friendly, the food was amazing also.Service: 5/5
This is a hidden gem. This place is beautiful with multiple venues on site. I was there for a baby shower but there were many other events onsite without any disturbance. Their food is devine, plenty parking, clean toilets. I just wish to go there again to explore more. Safety: There are security personnel at the gate. Safe parking spots available. Food & drinks: The food was divine and they served us a buffet so we gave ourselves generous portions
We were here for a farewell. It was well catered for and the experience was good. The road leading towards the venue is not good and should probably be retarded. Nearby activities: The historic Smuts House is just across the road Walkability: Walking is on gravel and probably not wheelchair friendly.
The venue is very pretty, it looks like a wine farm which makes it really great for photo shoots, weddings, picnics etc. They could improve on the food and service.

Attended a group evening. They had months to plan. Drinks prices exorbitant and varying. Not enough food. People went hungry. Poor service. Stay away!
My biggest pet peeve with accommodation providers who choose to continue operations over periods like Christmas and New Years, is their lacklustre approach to service in said period. Just because volumes are decreased, doesn't mean your standards should as well. Equally, if the decreased volumes mean reduced menu options at the restuarant then let it be stated upfront. To spend 3 days of my intended restful, quiet New Years crossover period and have to battle WiFi connectivity that "is strongest when you connect at reception" then leaves you wanting once in your room and food options because the restaurant that was selling "we don't have that" for lunch and dinner is truly disappointing. I love a good steak but I certainly wasn't going to eat it for supper, 3 days straight. Equally, when I asked for medium rare the 1st night and received my rump "rare", I should have taken the sign. And when you ask them to warm up your leftovers? "They aren't allowed". Additonally, it should go without saying that a clear blue swimming pool in the hot summer weather South Africa offers in this period is paramount - but RMM perhaps thought that element less than important. In conclusion, a gorgeous place undisputed but a less than ideal experience for me.

Beautiful place. But they didn't replace the water so we were so thirsty.Service: 2/5
I can't comment on rooms since I didn't book one but attended a meeting. The service from waiters was great but the location of the facility is in dubious area.Service: 4/5
