I booked a room and a massage for for me and my wife as it was her birthday on the 3rd of February. We received a superb service from the massages, dinner and the hospitality as a whole. Costa, the owner and his staff makes you to feel home away from home. The home-baked cake that they baked took the cup. The care they show for their guests is outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The Place is Beautifull and Quiet. We Were Welcomed by the Guy Called Mandla, Who Showed Us Our Room. Wow! Our Room Was Nice with White Linen The Bed was Decorated with Red Roses A Beautifull Vase with a Bunch of Red Roses on the Corner Table Soo Romantic.. I Loved Everything The Garden Is Stunning. Costa is a Great Host. The Ladies Cleaned Our Room. There's Lots of Mosquitoes But There was DOOM. It Was My Birthday and I Felt So Special Cause They Baked a Cake For Me THANK YOU Food & drinks: The Breakfast was Delicious Nice and Fresh Juice, Tea and Coffee Through Out Our Stay. We Had a Frigde to Store Cold Drinks and Food. That Was Lovely
Another hidden gem. Beautiful space. the room's the garden are so homey. So tranquil. "Clean sheets" There is a pool too, good service and fantastic chef. Really loved this one.Rooms: 3/5
Amazing place, beautiful gardens and so many good changes since I went there before Covid 19. Costa had put his personal touch and style on this beautiful property and you can see he has the passion and the experience of revamping guest houses, and he is still busy with new improvements special VIP suite etc.
It was a nice visit to Riverbend Country House , food was nice , room with internet free, all channels available, swimming pool and good staff members
A wonderful place to be sure. Staff are very friendly and if my schedule was not so tight I would have loved to stay around a bit longer. Breakfast was not five star but was a typical good breakfast. Equivalent to, maybe even a bit better, than say, Spur. The only reason why I don’t give 5 stars is due to the lack of WiFi. I just used my usb dongle for internet. Be prepared for no WiFi if you do go. That being said, I didn’t have my usb charger for the dongle and one of the staff happily lent me his for the evening. I would definitely go back there again. Great value for money.
Staff was really friendly and extremly helpful. The surrounds were really peaceful and quite and felt like you are surrounded by nature. Rooms where nice and clean and the beds are really comfortable. Will be going back.
FANTASTIC !So close to the city yet felt like was miles away in the countryside. Great breakfast , friendly staff. Enormous spotless rooms and bathrooms. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Lovely bird life. Felt secure. Sitting on patio was to die for. Highly recommend.
What a great hidden secret. A beautiful garden lush and full. Wasn't expecting such a wonderful place with such accomodating staff. Rooms spacious and clean. Every night had the fireplace going when I arrived a truly magical experience. Will definitely stay again. Miss the great breakfasts already. Thank you Costa and staff for a wonderful stay.
