Riverside Resort - Kleinbrak Rivier

Beautiful place on the river Bank. Lots for the kids to do. Swimming pool, trampolines, putt putt, canoeing, fishing. Chalets are small, comfortable enough with lovely braaivfacilities , well equipped but an upgrade of for example, decent showers long overdue. Erica is super friendly and always accommodating.

Wow, what a great place to camp. Sites are big and clean with grass, and most have trees covering them. Ablutions are always clean with hot water available. We had a fantastic stay, and this will now become a regular local spot for a weekend away.

What an amazing place! Alot of space for the kids, open green grass, trampolines, pool, tennis court, putt putt you name it! Was pleasantly surprised. Only thing is the bathrooms are really far from the "no electricity" camp site....

Lots of fun for the whole family. It would be better if the pool coukd be kept crystal clear.

Quiet and peaceful, with spectacular views. Became quite windy so be prepared. Little gem

A little hidden gem, just outside of Mossel Bay. Right on the river where you can fish, canoe and boat trip. Ablutions clean and sufficiently supplied. They have trampolines, putt putt, jungle gym, kids swimming pool and bigger swimming pool. There is an undercover where you can play table tennis and darts. Lovely undercover braai entertainment area for when it rains. Some camp sites have electricity, sites along the river have no electricity. Washing area with washing machines also available. Love this place so much.

Lovely!! Clean and family orientated. Dirt roads can get a tad bumpy after heavy rains and the little bridge can flood, but the resort itself is good.

I wish I can rate this property less than 1 star but unfortunately I can't, First of al let me say the lady in reception is friendly but I think it's more of the rules of the owners she has to follow that makes this place so disappointing. I came from Qatar to surprise my parents that have been staying in the resort for almost 3 months on my arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful I managed to surprise the folks and then decided to stay the night in one of the chalets. On inspection it was all nice and clean, except the grass was so long and wet due to the fact that it is rained a few days ago, my shoes was soaked and was uncomfortable. During the night when I decided to take a bath I ran out of hot water as the gas bottle was empty and never checked so I had to go out in the dark and in the wet grass to change the gas bottle from stove to the geyser so I can take a hot bath. It's very expensive to stay there R900 a night and there wasn't even a welcome gift , for that price I could have stayed in a 5 star hotel with better facilities. I decided not to stay there any longer and booked my self into a place in Harolds Bay that is much beter. I went back a few days later at 4pm to go vist my parents and have dinner with them and I was charged R40 to enter as an day visitor. On arrival I gave her my debt card for transaction and was told sorry we do not swipe cards below R100. If you know the location you know their is no atm close by, this is ridiculous and a disgrace. That is why I give them a 1 star, which is only for the friendly reception lady.

Perfect place for a stopover between Gauteng and Western Cape.
