just left, without my shopping. they had "any 5 tubs for 100". See photo. was charged double. Asked for manager. no one. asked security to call manager. manager had to tell the stubborn checkout "Do a price correction". TWICE. staff looked obstinate and intractable so I left without shopping.
Your bread on shelf is not fresh .I purchased bread from a garage quickshop 2 days ago and find the bread on your shelf 2days later that has same expiry date .When you open the packet I could feel your bread is not fresh and certain slices feels hard .Please don't rip the consumer off ,we are paying full price and deserve to have fresh food .I messaged owner about this concern but no reply from him .

This place is crazy good! I never go out of my way to write reviews so this is saying something. Butterfield Bakery which has now since closed used to make these epic snowballs that I thoroughly enjoyed. In the years since I've been on the lookout for anything that came close and theirs are just right! That childhood nostalgia hits different man. Superb service, fresh baked goods and other produce, well-stocked, very reasonably priced. Top 5 all-time convenience stores.

I see so many favorable reviews regarding service. Sorry ... I can't agree. Are we talking about the same Spar? How nice it would be to be greeted with a hearty 'Good Morning' from the staff member spraying our hands at the door. Doesn't happen! The person making the coffee turns around to talk to fellow workers before you've even finished putting your sugar in! Staff shout across to each other constantly. I never see any sign of owners or management. Some serious training required there ... but the first thing they should be told .... "don't talk to your colleagues when serving customers. Give your full attention to the person you are serving!" So simple but a very big fault with staff in South Africa. I live within walking distance of this Spar but give me Glenore Spar every time. Their staff are always helpful and friendly. Even the shelf packers greet you as you walk past them. Service is the key to success!
One of the Spar's of my choice. For a smaller Spar the selection of Fresh produce and hot freshly prepared foods are numerous , the freshly prepared food are mouth watering and delicious I always force myself to this Spar when I am lazy to cook and feel for home cooked meals . They have a hot fresh selection. Plentiful convenient grocery lines and frozen foods . Bakery has hot fresh rolls and breads of all varieties. Huge selection of cakes , donuts etc for your sweet tooth. Also wide selection of savories. Has a coffee bar for your caffeine fix. Situated in a enclosed centre , has ample parking with friendly car guards please support them .
