Rose Well Place is under new management and offers self-catering accommodation only. While we are doing our best to correct our online presence, some old reviews still manage to pop up beyond our control. Please note that, as part of our ongoing covid-19 safety measures, we no longer offer spa treatments, meals, heated pools or housekeeping services. Guests can still enjoy the gardens, cold water swimming pool and braai facilities. We are ideally situated to visit many enjoyable tourist attractions in the area. Looking forward to hosting you!
Absolute value for money, extremely great service, friendly staff and a fresh tasty breakfast, the owner is very organized, we received a load shedding schedule at check in, when the lights went out generators kicked in almost immediately. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, enjoyed my time here. I won't say anything about the dirty swimming pool it ddnt matter at all to us. Would come back here definately.
Very old fashioned. Bedding and towels were stained. Dirty bathroom and floor, definitely was not cleaned after the previous guests left pieces of rubbish were found in the bathroom Staff is friendly but should definitely confided renovating ASAP!!
What a beautiful and lovely hidden gem. The host Ryan is such a friendly person that truly cares about people. I would recommend this place to any that wants to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city life in Johannesburg. It's close to home, yet in a beautiful location. And the spa is very well equipped and worth a visit.
We left the place within 2hrs of arrival no refund ofcoz. My 4yr old boy couldn't stand the smell of the room. The white towels had stains, the black cover blanket had white fluff, cheapest quality toilet paper. The swimming pool water was dirty & green. The heated pool they might as well call it a jacuzzi, it's too small & its building made us feel suffocated. Don't ask me why it was covered but they have clients. ONE more thing, nobody showed us around. ZERO star from me & my family
The place was so clean, the bedding towels and linen were clean. We felt at home. Definitely going to recommend it
A relaxing and genteel guesthouse. We had a tranquil stay here, and enjoyed the Olde World charm of the gardens. The heated pool was fantastic, and the breakfast was tasty.
Really lovely little place to go for a weekend. People are friendly and rooms cosy and quaint. Had a spa treatment which was awesome. Looking forward to going back.
Very kind and loving people with 3 adorable dogs. Great place to go stay with the family because there are so many great things to do for example :swimming and going to the spa
Such wonderful people and accommodation. Very flexible,great food and service as well as a heated pool which I enjoyed.
