Average food, average service. The restaurant was half full but we waited quite a long time for food - if the food was better this wouldn't have been a complaint. The beer and sangria was good however, can't fault them on that. Oh yes and their opening times on their Google page isn't correct. They show they are closed on a Tuesday, but they're open?

Bit of a let down. Eishbein was dry and tough. Lamb shanks soft but tasteless. Beer tasting pleasant, but had stock issues when wanted to order cherry chouffe.Food: 2/5

We had a awesome time at Roter Hahn. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they explained the different types of food. There is a lot of different kinds of beers from all over Europe and local. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. The place was busy but dispite that the service was quick and the staff even had time for a little chat which was nice. The view of the mountains was nice if you sit outside. Centrally located in Clarence. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to experience something else than the usual food served everywhere else. Definitely going back there when visiting Clarence again. Great!

The deli is awesome so much treats to choose from. The restaurant on the other hand did not impress. Eisbein was very disappointing to say the least. The sauerkraut is even worse, just cooked cabbage that tastes like nothing.Service was okay but it felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave this was around 20h00.Food: 2/5

A must see.... Had nice German food.. Just needs more shaded amberlas on the deck. Some of their beers are pricey but well worth it. Make sure you try their cherry beers on tap.

Really loved our time here. Food is delicious, service is great. Atmosphere will be great when there is more customers, but on a Monday afternoon, it is quiet. We didn't mind. I have to point out 1 exceptional service from Onward which had nothing to do with our time in the restaurant. We were in a small accident outside Clarens a few minutes after we left. We phoned in to ask if they could direct us to someone who can assist us yo fix our car. Onward not only tried to help, but he drove to where we were to check if we were ok. That is exceptional care!! Thank you Onward.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent. Plenty to choose from. Parking: There is parking right in front of the restaurant, in the street, and right at the backyard.

Definitely a place to stop on Clarens. German music, German beer and German food. Really a good treat for the food lovers.Food: 5/5
