We are a private learning centre catering for children from grade R to grade 3 at present. Our children are taught one on one in small classes.
Royal Academy is a privately owned, registered Impak Tutor Centre in terms of Section 51 of the South African Schools Act (Act 84 of 1996). We are located at 67 Glen Luce Drive, Douglasdale, Johannesburg.
Royal Learning Academy utilizes the Impak curriculum, which is in line with the National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS). This implies that all pupils can transfer to mainstream schools whenever they want. Our environment is perfect for students who do not cope well in mainstream schools or who prefer to learn in small groups. We also find that kids who have been in environments where they have been bullied, they do better in a smaller environment. The small environment can be monitored more closely and the learners are taught how to treat each other with respect and not bully anybody.
