For the cheapest accommodation in Kimberly I would still never recommend Royal Palace. The “royal” must have left years and years ago. The rooms are the worst you could ever see, they smell bad, not that kind of “someone was smoking” smell, but bad. You could smell the fumes of the blankets right after entering the rooms. I checked 2 rooms that night, with things not getting any better at all. The rooms are adorned with warnings on papers about shower’s malfunctioning, you’d ask yourself why can’t they just fix them instead, I don’t even have to get into more details… the night staff, didn’t so bad though, but the place is terrible.
Personally havent been at the place but the reviews i hear about it are nothing nice to go by
My room didn't have a TV and had no EXTRA blankets incase I need it.
It's not a good place at all. Dirty sheets, pillowcases are dirty
The place is alright. The bedding however could smell abit fresher and the passages were too noisy.
It was my first time being in Kemberley,,,had a nice stay in this place,,, it's clean,,,the hospitality of the staff,,,thumbs up,,,,
