Great team. Really helpful and awesome service. Jaques and Jaco went out of their way to help me. They were patient with me whilst I decided on a car and they negotiated an excellent finance deal for me. It's not often that you meet a team as dedicated to excellence service as this one. I highly recommend them, especially there branch next to the shell garage on republic road. 5 stars all round thanks guys
This writer cannot recommend this dealer. Sales staff and Dealer Principal so nice and friendly to make a sale. It's a whole different story when you go back to them to fix things, within the 30 day period they told you had to go back to them. Both Jarqu Ferreira Dealer Principal and Patrick Betha sales executive turn rude, obnoxious and uninterested to solve problems, or find an amicable solution to return the vehicle, as I requested, even though I offered to buy another more expensive vehicle from the. One can only wonder why...? Yes, I bought a 20 year old vehicle from them cash, described on their website as being in EXCELLENT condition. It is in fact a misrepresentation as the overall exterior and interior of the vehicle can only be described as being in GOOD condition. Took the vehicle to DEKRA and it came back with things that need fixing, things you don't expect from an EXCELLENT condition vehicle. Water leaks into the one headlamp in rain and car wash, headlamps are not aligned and the car is a nightmare to drive at night due to poor visibility, one tyre is 13 years old no longer safe to drive with, one electric mirror is not fully functional, error codes on speed sensors on tyres, excessive play on steering, resprayed body panels not disclosed, faulty drivers seatbelt etc.. And, the price I paid was exactly double the normal retail price of the vehicle, I only discovered this much later when I reviewed my insurance documents..at no point was this ever disclosed, as I definitely would not have proceeded with the sale had I known this. This is not a fair, nor a reasonable price I paid, something i will raise with the Consumer Protection Authority. It's just ludicrous and unconscionable that a dealer is able to take me, and no doubt countless other consumers as well, for a ride in this fashion. I've lost interest in the vehicle - "SA MotorCorporation Showroom 1" also won't consider exchanging it for another more expensive vehicle, certainmy no need for any of us to wonder why this is.... No response to emails, they disconnect calls etc... all advice I get from this dealership is if I am unhappy then I need to to the motor vehicle ombudsman, which I intend doing. Probably nothing will come from my efforts, hopefully though this review will aid other consumers in making some informed choices. I give this dealership zero stars, unfortunately there was no such option on HelloPeter.
Do not buy a car from these people!!!!!!! no disclosure of rebuilt cars and fake service history on vehicles. 2 cars in 8 months with major mechanical issues from them. In May of 2021 I purchased a Chevrolet Utility from them that had an intermittent engine light that came on , after 6 months of back and forth, the car was not sorted out, we decided that I trade it back in, they gave about 45k rand less than what i initially paid for the vehicle. Williams hunt confirmed that the vehicle was in a major accident, no disclosure from SA Motor Corporation. I then chose a 2013 VW polo GTI on their floor. 2000km into driving this vehicle it started smoking so I took it to my own preferred mechanic, turns out the car's engine was so poorly rebuilt that repairs could not be done, I need to replace the entire engine, they did not disclose that the engine was rebuilt on the vehicle, nor did they disclose that the vehicle had a fraudulent service history. When I spoke to Bradley about this, he immediately repudiated responsibility. to make matters worse, the car had a fake service history as well. all these claims can be verified,I have a letter from VW stating the service history is fake. I am more than willing to send any proof to anyone who needs this information, I even have voice recordings of the conversations with Bradley. Don't buy a car from them, you will regret buying their rebuilt ****.
Ryan the salesman was friendly and professional enough when making the sale. However had to spend R12k on fixing an oil leak before passing roadworthy. But the real nightmare has been trying to get the original Registration Certificate RC1 out of them for the past number of months. Apparently it was couriered, but the fact that no one received it seems to go over their heads, and requesting or issuing a new is beyond their paygrade. Clueless. Directionless. Useless. Two fines for driving an unregistered vehicle later, and now my calls and whatsapps are simply being ignored. Had no choice but to institute legal action. Buyer, BEWARE!
Recently purchased a vehicle from SA Motor Corp - The service and after sales service from Angelo and the team was excellent! I can highly recommend SA Motor Corp to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle! They care about their customer needs and the quality of their cars are brilliant!
They sold me a car which packed up 2 days after taking delivery. They fixed it but put in substandard parts, not even 2000kms and the car is leaking water at the thermostat, exactly where the problem started. They put in a mini part. My car is a ticking time bomb it's leaking fuel on the engine which can ignite. When I sat in my car before I bought it the fuel smell was there. I was told they replaced the fuel pump. It's been fixed with a hose clamp. It smokes so badly inside the car I had to take it to an expert. My AA claim was repudiated a plan they sold me. I tried to claim for all of this and now they refuse to take my calls or answer my emails. Terrible service
