S.A Post Office Scottsville

I would offer a zero star rating but I am compelled to rate the service. I understand the postal service is yet another government entity that has failed miserably, so why even operate, but more especially why work with miserable, frustrated , incompetent , socially inept staff. Even the "white lady" has sadly failed to offer a decent service. The phone is never answered so telephonic queries are not possible. Turn this branch into a car licencing office , Kick all of these useless staff members that offer no value to this office and employ people that can and want to work.

Was very efficient and staff were friendly and very helpful. Also the motor vehicle licensing December 2020 was great with two counters open unlike the last few years with only one counter available. Thankful they saw the need for a second and provided this for a better and faster service.

Very disillusioned! The track and trace for parcels is not working. Parcel was scanned at this PO on the 4th November 2021 so it is at this Post office but I was told I would have to wait until I am notified. Very sad that our systems have come to this disastrous state!!! I have to collect the parcel by the 25th so I was informed and post office clerk is unable to track it what happens to it?

I have been to the Scottsville post ffice today. The white lady who supposedly is the manager spoke to me in such a rude and arrogant manner. I was shocked that she was even the manager. I admit I did not have the correct documentation, however she could of told me in a professional and polite manner. I am the manager of Telkom. I know abought customer service. That white lady does not deserve to be your business. Absolutely terrible service.

wrong number listed, service is pathetic. A white lady who does car licensing was extremely rude and didn't really want to assist us saying that: "These licenses are only expiring next month, are you sure you want to do them?" Keep in mind that we've been waiting in line almost 3 hours for the same purpose. First and last time going there !

Useless... Went to renew my license with all the documents I usually use. So after standing in line for an hour, some security guard comes and tells me I need proof of postal... Keep in mind I've got official proof of residency. Complete waste of time and money to go there... Stay away

1 counter for motor license renewal that resulted in a long queue. Had my reminder, proof of physical address & id with me however the lady that assisted me requested i produce proof of postal address even though my reminder had a postal address. She refused to help me but other branch did process my renewal without any hassle.

The worst Post Office you can go to. i waited in line a WHOLE HOUR! They've got only two people working there and when i was in front the lady is asking me if i had filled in a form whereas the forms are ONLY available at her counter and she doesn't have a pen for me. Once i had done filling in the forms and ready to do transaction she says they only accept cash payments!! I'm never setting foot there again!!

Line was quite long for car registration renewal but once you're past the line everything goes smoothly.

I was looking for my package that was delivered to the post office and the person sounds like a white man in his late 50's or more who answers the telephone is very rude and disrespectful he was not helpful on many encounters. I am so dissatisfied with the service i have called the post office more than five times this week he is the one who always answers i even asked him to refer me to someone else because he was not willing to assist me instead he just hung up on me he is impatient and disrespectful.
