Beautiful towering structure. Never been inside.

What a disappointment. I traveled twice from Johannesburg to Pretoria to exchange old notes. The first time I was told that the teller service is only open on Monday and Wednesday between 9 and 12. I went back again today and there was no access. I called the SARB and was informed that the  teller service is unavailable 'due to an unfortunate situation '.  I was told that I can go to any Standard Bank that has a foreign exchange service. This also turned out to be incorrect!  What an unhelpful and unprofessional service from such a supposed important and esteemed institution!!!

Perfect security system, reception and privacy not forgetting the hospitality of the fellow employees
