Sanbonani Hotel Resort, Hazyview, SA

Really beautiful, scenic and peaceful resort, worth the stay!!! The food is good, not great and the bar is extremely slow in service but everything else is breathtaking and the pool is amazing!!! You can swim, play pool, play darts, play table tennis, play giant chess, play mini golf, obstacle course. They have a really cool spa from what I could see and will most definitely like to try the spa next time I go. I will definitely be back!!!

The resort was amazing to visit, the area and the people both staff and other visitors were amazing to interact with, myself and the family had fantastic stay. The only downside is that my nan had trouble with the steep slopes and walk ways, but we still managed. Though not sure how wheelchairs will do at the chalet we stayed at, each chalet has different path ways. Rooms: The rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning for the warmer days. Safety: There are electric fences around the property to keep larger wildlife out and security do patrols and keep the gate secure, incase of loadsheading there are battery powered light in every chalet and on all the pathways so you won't be left in the dark. Walkability: They have paths for people to explore around the resort itself, but some of the paths may not be wheelchair friendly as they can be quite steep in some areas.

We were treated really well, food wasn't the best but ok. Since it's surrounded by nature some critters get in the bedroom. Other than that it has great facilities. And people in the hotel are very friendly and caring.Rooms: 3/5

Sanbonani is an older development but very well maintained and well situated for visiting the Kruger park. The place was clean and comfortable with great views on the river that came with our six sleeper. Great braai area. I will visit this lodge again.Rooms: 4/5

Great place to stay. Tranquility at its best. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great weekend away. A very large swimming pool to cool you off on a warm sunny day.

The place is beautiful for outings but the room, 228 has the worst bed I've ever experienced. You can feel the springs and its horrible. Service is very poor. You keep on dialing receptjon who mostly will never come back to you after a call cut and you can get tired and you wait forever for room service like simple iron which shows lack of regard for visitors or lack of customer service.

The place is beautiful and so peaceful. Definitely worth bringing your walking shoes to make sure you see the whole place. The food at the restaurant was mediocre but luckily there are some amazing places close by to grab a bite.

The Hotel rooms are ok, unfortunately we had big flying cockroachs. The service was not that bad but it was not really good either. The location to Kruger National Park is incredible, just 5 minutes to an amazing Game Drive. The surroundings are extremely beautiful, the gardens and the river in the back are kept golf course manicure type. The terrible energy blackouts make the Hotel a terrible place to be during summer time, because the Air Conditioner will not work for up to 6 hours a day. They have a Tour company located in their Lobby and that makes everything easy and very convenient. If you are a Buffet kind of person you will love the food, if you are like me, you won't. When they have buffet for lunch/dinner then you have no opportunity to choose from. Their wine selections are very good, all of them south african of course and you can't go wrong with any of them. I’ve never been a guy to complain but this deserves a bad review. Sanbonani has a lot of potential but the service at the restaurants was appalling and the general area was dirty, the staff were not inclusive at all and did not accommodate everyones needs. Beautiful place but mismanaged.

A really beautiful place to relax and recharge,very peaceful and excellent location. The rooms are spacious,food is okay and swimming pool is clean and smart.Enjoyed my stay.Rooms: 4/5
